Boma.

This has been a must-eat ever since my very first meal there. We have to be the only Californians with a regular server at a Florida restaurant. (Hi, Jules!) Boma is almost always our first meal when we visit WDW - we plan our flights so we land with enough time to get our rental car, eat dinner at Boma, and then over to Epcot for Illuminations.

We're so addicted, we made a trip to Animal Kingdom Lodge the night before we left for the Panama Canal cruise last May JUST to have dinner at Boma - and we were staying at a hotel at the Orlando airport.

Boma's not for everyone - but it's my favorite restaurant in the World.

I've only been to WDW twice, but I've eaten at about maybe 15 different places in those two trips, and for some reason the Koana Cafe (right next to Ohana's) was my favorite meal. Even over the fancy spots like the CA Grill or Narcoossee's.

Also really enjoyed Les Chefs in France.

Yes, but when you have kids, nothing beats watching your princess trying to win a race pushing a coconut with a broom. Or trying to hula hoop - talk about priceless video footage. :D

Mrs. WWithers, I think you're missing the point....

There will be no pirating in the Hall of Presidents. Although there are a few boys in there I don't particularly like, I still have to respect them for the position they hold/held. It's not a job I would want... That may be the only attraction in all of WDW that I'm not acting goofy in....

That being said, I surely wouldnt mind seeing somebody dunking ol' dubya in a well a few times. :~D :~D :~D :~D :~D

wwithers - Be cautious with 'Ohana - they changed the menu (no more shrimp skewers and no more pineapple/caramel :crying: ) and have been getting really lousy reviews. (And, it's great to have you back on the WDW side!)

Wingnut - I soo wish our March trip had come together 'cause I would soo love to come and be a maniac with youse guys!

Disneynerd - Crystal Palce is a buffet but your server gets your drink orders and gets you started. It takes a while to cycle through the characters while eating their fabulous breakfast. No, the park is not officially open as yet so you are not free to wander at will past the hub and the attractions are not open, as yet. It does make for a fabulous shot or two on an empty Main Street.
Oh, and welcome to the family! ;)

I'm not exactly sure when - Mark posted it, oh, a few months back. I did a search but, being lame, I didn't find the exact date of the Update.

They now serve shrimp as one of the appetizers and bread pudding with Bananas Foster sauce (which is supposed to be good but I loved the pineapple/caramel!).

I thought the shrimp was the best option. I'm really not that much of a meat lover. The shrimp was delicious.

Total agreement here about the shrimp. (But not about the non-meat lover part!)

Leslie M. - No more shrimp?????? :crying: :crying:

And thanks for the welcome back. It's good to be back! I was just talking to someone today that when I first started here, I posted in WDW about 80% of the time. Now, I get sucked into the lounge.

Mark - And just when might Mouse Fest be?? :fez:
