Fultons is great for steak and crab, you can get a great rueben sandwich at the cafe at the grand floridian, the california grill at the top of the contemporary hotel (sit by the window) is a great meal... i little pricey but worth it. ohana's is always awesome.

I happen to enjoy visiting 1900 park fare for lunch. The roast duck is simply amazing! Its a great spot to get away from it all around 1:00pm it gets really hot and the 1900 park fare for lunch is just a great place for peice and quiet!

Not a stupid question at all. There will be 1 turnstile open and the CM will have a list of those w/early reservations.
Just be sure to factor in travel time from your hotel to the MK, we usually will spring for a taxi on those mornings.
And you won't normally be able to get any further into the park than the hub.:)

And you won't normally be able to get any further into the park than the hub.:)So, if I make my PS at 8, finish eating at 8:30 (I have 1 year old speed-eater), we can mill around the entire park before anyone gets there? Are the attractions operating?

I think its unlikely you would be checked in, seated, served and finished prior to 9am.

Our one "must do" on every trip is Whispering Canyon at the Wilderness Lodge. They have a teriffic all-you-can-eat, family-style BBQ dinner and the overall atmosphere is great fun. It also gives us an excuse to visit our favorite resort, even if we aren't staying there on that particular visit. :)
Just keep in mind that this isn't a place to go for a quiet dinner...

Did they get them back? I thought I read a while back they were closing the stand. I DID look for them in late November and didn't see them.
I don't think it's coming back. When I went last January for the CM/AP/DVC Everest weekends, the sign was gone from the shack and it was all covered up.
Last I heard the company that made the beaver tails or something went under.

Does your DCA have a clever cable-car-themed darkride in the Bay Area section? Maybe some sort of Steinbeck/Cannery Row-themed attraction in Pacific Wharf? Did your United States manage to avoid George W. Bush, the World Trade Center Atrocities, and the invasion of Iraq?

This is a formal request for Mr. and Mrs. Nerd,....
If you come back from WDW, and we do not see posted a picture of that cute little baby in your avatar with Schocolatte Moussse smeared all over the place, I for one, will be most disappointed......:fez: :fez:
A MUST visit of course is required at La Patisserie in France (EPCOT) for the delicacy of all delicasies........You will not be disapointed!!!

We're also considering wearing our pirate hats on IASW - you've put terrible ideas into my head that will embarrass my husband to no end. THANKS!!!:p

I always have to have the Cobb salad at MGM. Also, Jiko in the AKL (lamb to die for-- dare I say better than Marrekesh). Citrico's, the Flying Fish...
And we love O'hana, mostly because Olivia loves it and has such a great time there. (And the food is very good)

Can't wait to see the little nipper with the schocolate moussse face!!
I'm so happy to find another person besides LeslieM and my brother who enjoys getting totally goofy at WDW and embarrassing the spouse. I told my little misses that this wasn't just a guy thing. I live to embarrass the wife at WDW!!
So stand proud Mrs. Nerd!! Wear that pirate hat with the dignity it deserves on IASW, and take aim at those hairy-legged french dolls with your pirate pistols. Imaginary hand grenades with the appropriate sound effects will also do.
Have fun! Get Goofy! That's what WDW is all about! Reality stinks!!:fez:

Animal Kingdom needs some good sit down restarants or buffets. We have rainforest cafe here in Baltimore and I have come to hate it. The service and the food are just plain bad! However, my kids still love the atmosphere.

My only problem is it's just me and baby who do the embarrassing. I don't have a roving band of nuts to feed off of like you do. I'll just have to do some recruiting when I get there!
I promise to get that chocolate pudding you've been raving about, oh sorry, I'm mean schocolate moussse (blasphemy). And luckily I married the hairiest man alive, so if I start to get misty on IASW all I have to do is look to my right.

Actually, the one time I ate at Chefs de France, the food was excellent, the wait was mercifully short, and I ended up kind of glad that the Rose & Crown was booked up through closing.
Which is odd, given that I generally regard French cuisine as being a bit, ahem, weird for my taste. Although no weirder than the so-called "California cuisine."
On the other hand, having eaten at Le Cellier once, I classify the place as a mistake I don't care to repeat. Lousy prime rib.

And sorry I wasn't Clearer, I love the Cobb salad at The Brown Derby in MGM :)
Wingnut, I would happily wear my pirate hat and shoot at the hairy French girls in IASW. HOWEVER...that would require me actually riding IASW. And I avoid it like the plague (total daddy duty).
I was thinking as an alternative, I could wear a pirate hat and eyepatch and shoot at some choice targets in The Hall of Presidents. (That or wear a pirate hat on Dumbo and shout "ARG" everytime Dumbo comes close to the ground.)

Mrs. WWithers, I think you're missing the point....
There will be no pirating in the Hall of Presidents. Although there are a few boys in there I don't particularly like, I still have to respect them for the position they hold/held. It's not a job I would want... That may be the only attraction in all of WDW that I'm not acting goofy in....
The reason that IASW was chosen for the pirate rebellion is that it has some of the elements that we will be missing from POC:
1. Water:)
2. Boat Ride:D
3. Hairy Legs (French Dolls)
4. Subjects to ravage and loot (French Dolls):fez:
Now if we can just sing Yo-Ho loud enough to drown out that other stupid song......:fez: :fez:
