I hesitate to share one of our WDW secrets for fear that someone might be at the World on the same day as us and beat us to the punch. However, in the interest of sharing the magic... my kids and I have a great time exploring Tom Sawyer Island in the MK looking for the paint brush left by Tom (or his friend Huck?) somewhere on the island (actually hidden every day by a CM). The last time we were there, my kids and their cousins scoured every inch of the island and we couldn't find the paintbrush. I politely inquired of a CM as we boarded the raft to return to the "mainland" as to whether the brush had already been found that day. He did some investigating and admitted that the CM (new to the job) responsible for hiding the brush had forgotten to do so that morning. As a reward for bringing this honest omission to their attention, the great CM gave our whole group Fast Passes to Splash Mtn or Big Thunder Mtn, and to thank him we gathered around and got a group photo with him and the subject paint brush. Very fun memory!

I wasn't sure where to post this so please feel free to move this post.
I was reading this on The Mouse For Less website (in their news letter) and I was wondering if Disneyland does anything like this? That would be pretty cool if they did.
