I'm trying to get an idea of what I can ride with the boys if I take them alone to DL/DCA. My kids are young (5 1/2 and 4) and are both tall/thin kiddos. I'm an average sized person (just to give you an idea of how much room we need). I know IASW and POTC will be fine. But what about Fantasyland attractions? Or HM, Buzz, or even the new Monsters Inc (I have no idea what this one even looks like)?

Thank you so much! :)

Monster's Inc has a cab with two benches - one in the front seat, one in the back. They will not allow you to have a child on your lap, so you could probably get away with one on the bench in front, one next to you on a bench.

HM - I think you can probably have one kid on your lap and one on the bench next to you - - although, if they're thin, they might also possibly fit side by side with you.

Jungle Cruise - you'll be fine.

Autopia - maybe

Dumbo - probably not. The seats on the elephant are small.

Casey Jr. - no problem. Sit in one of the cages.

Storybook Boats - no problem.

You'll have fun!

Haunted Mansion you can definitely get two kids and an adult in one vehicle. We do this all the time.

Peter Pan-yes
Mr. Toad- maybe

Dumbo is kind of small. Not sure on that one. I think you should be ok with most of the Fantasyland attractions.

Thanks for the replies! This has been very helpful!

That's good news about BLAB! I was hoping that was something we could ride together. :D

I took a 3 and 5 yr old on The Matterhorn , they just have the older one in the seat in front of you, while the younger shares.

One that we could not do that surprised me was tuck and rolls bumper cars. Only 2 per car.

We did all the Fantasy land rides(even if the bench doesn't fit three you can sit behind the kids in the same car.)
Sun wheel is good
Mulholland Madness (Although I dislike that one)
BTMRR is good

You really are pretty good on most rides, especially if the 5 yr. old doesn't mind sitting in front of you.

Sorry, I should mention this isn't an option for us since both my sons have autism and I wouldn't want them to sit alone (even right in front of me).

I think you can fit 3 in those rockets in Tomorrowland?

I'm pretty sure you could fit three in Dumbo, if two are small kiddos. My sister and I easily fit. If you are allowed one on your lap, you would definitely fit. Definitely the rest of FL dark rides would work.

The only ride that I don't think the three of you would fit is Gadget's Go-Coaster, and maybe Roger Rabbit.

Ok, then remove Matterhorn and Mulholland Madness from my list. But most of the FantasyLand rides should be fine, as well as BTMRR. I think the rest have been listed already. Have fun!

Yes, you can fit 3 on Dumbo! DH and I took two 6 year olds with us in November and because the girls were under 7, they BOTH had to ride with an adult but I was in the bathroom. LOL So, DH had one on his lap and one next to him. And he isn't a little guy. ;-)

Hope that helps!!!

I agree with all above posts. We have done three on Mr. Toad (1 adult 2 small kids), so it is possible, but with autism you might want to avoid it anyway since there are strobes and loud noises on Mr. Toad. Also you might have a problem with Alice in Wonderland since the cars only seat two in front and three in back (tight fit even for my three kids who are 6,8,& 10). The Tea cups will be no problem though since we have had five in one once.

They've been on it before, we go to DL in the summer with the boys. So far I haven't found a ride they don't like. LOL! I just can't remember how big all the seats are.

Thanks for all the info here! This will be a big help!
