Has anybody received additional information from Disney lately?

Still waiting for my shareholder packet. I'm going to give them until the middle of next week before I call them, though.

I finally received mine on Saturday. I will be at the meeting.

DH is a shareholder, so we'll be going. Not sure if he's received a packet yet or not...

If I can get out of work that day I will be there. :)

Got a shareholder packet yesterday with proxy ballots for the shares that my wife and I hold, but not for my son's shares. If his doesn't come Monday, I'll call them.

Mine came in the mail a couple weeks ago. I've thought about going but will have to take a day off work for it. How long is the meeting usually and is it really worth going to?

Anybody have a contact number or email in their packet to get an admission ticket??
I made the HUGE mistake of opting for electronic voting not realizing I would be cheated out of the (physical) annual report etc etc...so I haven't gotten anything in the mail:crying:

At this late date it looks like I'll just be enjoying Disneyland instead of my first meeting---not a bad thing but still.

I bought my shares through ShareBuilder and signed up for electronic delivery 7 notification. I declined the proxy this time, though, so I got a "Legal Proxy" letter from ShareBuilder basically stating that I have the right to vote these shares at the annual meeting. So that's good. I also have my account statements.

However, this thread is the first I've heard of admission tickets. Am I missing something I need to have for March 10th?

BTW, right now my plan is to arrive around 7:30 a.m. I hope I'm not too late. :eek: :concerned:

Go to the Disney Investor Relations (http://corporate.disney.go.com/investors/shareholder_account.html) web site. See if you can get your documents there. If not, there is a "contact us" link with information on how to get in touch with Investor Relations by email, snail mail and phone, and you can ask them.

They used to give shareholder attendees of the Annual Meetings comp tickets to the parks if the meeting was being held near a Disney park property.

I honestly don't know if they still do that or not. But they didn't just mail them to you. They were only distributed in-person at the meetings.

Anyone have an update if they've still been giving these away...or is that a long dead perk?

Actually, I'm kind of curious myself. Since I've just got a Deluxe AP and Saturday's a blockout day, if they're giving away tix to shareholders, I'll have to enter twice, once with my shareholder credential to get my DL tix and once with my press credentials to cover the meeting.

You need to be able to prove that you're a shareholder to get into the meeting. The proxy materials included an admission ticket with the proxy ballot. Again, check out the Investor Relations site, and call or email them if you can't get your credentials from there.
