Ever since last Saturday (2-11), I haven't been able to get connected to the online Buzz game. It keeps coming back saying it's not able to connect with Disneyland! Has anyone else had this problem?

I sent them an email, got a canned reponse, saying someone will email me, but have yet to hear from them.

Tonite, I tried again and this time, it came up with a screen saying there was a new version of the game, that would load immediately. It loaded the new Buzz, version 2.0, with a different opening screen. I tried to get on it again, but got the same old message!

Has anyone been able to get onto the 2.0 version game? If you have, other than the new opening screen, is it any different?

I just tried to install the updates and it came back saying there was a problem after a few minutes of downlaoding. It didn't say what the problem was, but I sent an error report.

I have it installed no problems with the update. I can even play the game

Yeah, I got the "Checksum failed" whatever message, but I think the problem of access was definitely on Disney's side of things. I checked back again later in the day, and was able to get in with no problem, except I had to change the pre-assigned screen name it gave me.

The new opening screen is interesting, but is the "Instant Play" really any shorter or faster than the "Competition Mode"? I think the only difference I see is that you skip a couple of the regular screens.

Has anyone got the 'Buzz Cup' pin yet with the 100 credits? I just won it:)

Yes, I've received them each time I play so far. I added 2 of them to my VMK account, but don't know if they make any difference.

Have you gotten "Fox 6" ads in the screen that is supposed to be the onboard game camera? I was getting them all day yesterday - very distracting!! :(

What is this Buzz game. Is it on vmk?

The game is not VMK you go to Disneyland website and go to buzz light year Astro blaster and download and play people that are at the park on the ride. It`s really fun.

Thanks for posting what you did, ToT! I was thinking *I* must be the only one in the world who has problems with Buzz! :(

For me, it's either a problem of them not being able to connect me, so I have to keep trying, over & over again, and/or "come back later", or it freezes up on me, when I'm in the midst of a game! Very frustrating!!

I finally got an email reply, from someone at the site and I have to give them so much technical info, I'll have to have my hubby answer them for me! Please let me know, if you get any solutions to the problem and I'll pass on what I hear back from them, if and when I do.

Well its work perfectly fine the game I had no problem playing earlier today.

Does anyone have any tips for playing that game? I know you should only go for the blue batteries and stuff like that but I'm wondering how the heck people get 400,000 points!:eek: The most I can get is about 70,000. Any hints?

I've gotten close to 200,000 on that game but that's about it. Key for me is to shoot lots and get lots of the batteries and all of the green spacemen.

I have also noticed that my score seems to be higher when i can connect to disneyland versus when I am in "offline" mode.

I also noticed that defeating Zurg happens more frequently when I am with another Space Ranger than when I am by myself ...
