View Full Version : Virtual Magic Kingdom FASTPASS
Burnt Toast 02-13-2006, 04:23 PM Beginning February 14, Guests who complete four (4) Virtual Magic Kingdom (VMK) quests will receive a VMK FASTPASS® ticket for them and one (1) additional Guest to two (2) of the following attractions:
Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters*
Indiana Jones™ Adventure
Space Mountain
Autopia
Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin
VMK FASTPASS® tickets will be awarded at VMK Central in front of Innoventions and are issued for the attraction's current return time. Tickets are distributed in addition to the Guest's regularly allotted number of single FASTPASS® tickets at a time (or two hours since the last ticket was issued). If a Guest receives a VMK FASTPASS® ticket at VMK Central for an attraction, the Guest will not be able to receive another FASTPASS® ticket for that attraction until the VMK FASTPASS® time has expired.
VMK is a free online multi-player game that allows Guest to experience the magic of Disney Theme Parks from home. VMK Quests are trivia scavenger hunts that Guests can do at Disneyland® Park to earn virtual rewards in the game. Three quests are available at VMK Central in front of Innoventions and Guests can print an additional quest at home and bring it with them to play at Disneyland® Park.
*Inspired by Disney's Presentation of Pixar's, Toy Story 2.
vegasmommytoDL 02-16-2006, 09:04 AM Is this only for kids or can adults play too? I saw the booth for this game on our last trip in November.... I saw it literally as we were walking out of the park to go home so I didn't play any of the games. Can you let me know where a good spot to read about this is? Thanks!

The game is mainly geared towards children but I've been playing since Day 1. :p I don't think there is any rule that says you CAN'T play if your an adult, I'm sure Disney welcomes people of all ages. ;)
For more information please visit www.vmkforums.com, I love this website, it has the most up to date information and a section for spoilers if you are so inclined. Have a great time playing! :)

I would also recommend the fan site www.vmkingdom.com for anyone wanting to join a bunch of Disney and VMK enthusiasts.
Thanks for the tip :)

Another adult player. And it seems to me that vmkingdom has more adult players posting.
twist1980 03-03-2006, 09:09 PM Vmkingdom.com started out with more adults (another one here), but in recent months, it seems that a lot of younger members have joined.
vegasmommytoDL, give the game a try, and as Panzaer recommended, check out VMKingdom. There are so many wonderful members that are oh-so-willing to help. And you can sign up to play at VMK.com! Looking forward to seeing you in the game! :)

How is it decided which rides you get a fastpass for?
Juniper 03-20-2006, 11:35 PM bumping to see if anyone knows how it's decided which of the rides you will get a fastpass for, and how often can you do it? daily? :)
You decide. You get to choose which two Fastpasses you would like. Get there early for the best times though because they pull directly from the current fastpass times.
You can also choose to save the Fastpasses for your next visit if the times are not good for you. I had to do this because I was leaving the park early to see a concert and the available fastpass times were beyond that time.
This is a great program because you could have as many as 3 overlapping Fastpasses!:D
Vegitabeta 03-21-2006, 12:42 PM It's for adults as well as children. Someone's sig line on vmk is 'My children think I'm online paying bills' lol, so that was a mom.
Tinkermommy 04-17-2006, 11:16 AM Doggone it, we stopped by Disneyland and the VMK booth Saturday on our way out of town just to turn in our 50th quests.
When the VMK CM processed the quests, she said we were eligible for two fast passes each. (We weren't expecting that; my daughter was just anxious to get her quest prizes.) Because the FPs are pulled from the normal FP queue, the FP times were too late in the day for us to be able to use them, so we declined. The CM said it wouldn't be a problem; that we could defer them until our next trip. But when she put my pass through, it spit out two FPs for Indiana Jones.
She had a sort of "oops!" moment, then said we should still be able to get them on our next visit if we brought our quests back. Anybody have a similar experience? Should I be optimistic?
