My friend and I are going to Disneyland in mid March and we would love to dine at Club 33. I am on the waiting list, but from what I understand from this board it will take 2-3 years to become a member.

If anyone can help me I would be very appreciative and would be happy to part with a 99 Harlan Estate.

Thank you!

I can't answer that, but you originally posted in (perhaps by accident) in the Disneyland Forum.

When did you put in your application? Last I heard, when membership slots came open the people who were getting invitation letters had put their names on the list in 1999. So the wait list is running close to seven years at the moment.

I submitted my application about 6 months ago...I am hoping the wait is less than 7 years!

Harlan is an amazing wine...my husband and I waited several years just to be able to purchase it from the winery. It would be hard to part with a '99 but I figure it would be a fair trade for a Club 33 Reservation.

Harlan is killer wine. And 1999 was a truly outstanding vintage!

I believe the grapes for it come from the same little patch as Heitz Cellars "Martha's Vineyard" Cab. And that ain't no slouch either.

Hmm. I'd wondered what a "99 Harlan Estate" was. Thought it was another private club, or some such.

Let me get this straight: You're willing to trade a bottle of wine for a Club 33 reservation. Does that mean you're whining to get in?

Yes, but that would be "wining" to get in....
