Anyone else out there a disneyland-loving-vegetarian? If so, what are your favorite meals at Disneyland or DCA, or what restaurants do you find have the most selection?

I've found that Pizza Port has alot more choices than other restaurants and the Blue Bayou has options not on the menu, but DCA really doesn't have anything to eat for vegetarians except for the expensive restaurants.

My info is 1 1/2 years old, but Pizza Oom Mow Mow had vegie/cheese pizza. We also got cheese sandwiches at Taste Pilot Grill and loaded them up at the topping bar (a grilled cheese is special order, but they did it for us -- you have to ask). I honestly can't remember exactly what we had, but we did eat at Whitewater Snacks in the GCH also, might just have been bagels and cream cheese. We also liked Tortilla Jo's Taqueria in Downtown Disney, it's counter service. We got by fine being vegetarian, but it wasn't exactly gourmet dining. :)
At DL some of the places have vegie burgers, they're special order and not always on the menu -- again, you have to ask. I'm pretty sure there have been threads about this so you could do a search. Good luck!
BTW we were at WDW this summer and they had lots more options for vegetarians at counter service restaurants than we found at DL. That surprised us, but we were pleased!

On the guide they hand out at the turnstiles, there is a carrot (or something like that) by the restaurants which offer vegetarian options.
I'm pretty sure that the Pacific Wharf had some veggie options. And the mexican place had bean burritos.

For Vegetarians:
In Disneyland,

The Carnation Cafe sells vegetarian sandwiches, salads and Pasta

The Blue Bayou has Portabello Mushrooms and Mashed potatoes (not on menu), Salads and Vegetarian Gumbo for Pesco Vegetarians (fish eaters) you could also get the salmon (very good!)

The Plaza Inn has pasta with vegetarian marinara sauce, garlic bread and Salads.

Redd Rockets Pizza Port in Tomorrow land has cheese pizzas, pasta and salads.

Rancho del Zocalo- Vegetarian burritos (grilled veggies w/ rice/beans and lettuce)

Club Buzz- Veggie burgers w/fries.

Do not be afraid to ask for something to be made vegetarian.

Any place that sells hamburgers usually has veggie burgers or you can ask for one without meat and have a cheese sandwhich.

Rancho has a vegetarian taco salad and bean burritos.

Pasta at Plaza Inn or Redd Rockets. Mac & Cheese at (I forget the name) by the train station in New Orleans/Frontierland.

A vegetarian sandwhich at Carnation.

At DCA there is a vegetarian chili bread bowl and the cafe and nachos at the mexican place accross from the cafe.

Don't worry you won't go hungry, there are plenty of options. You may have to do a little searching but plenty of options are there.

Tomorrowland
Redd Rockett's Pizza Port
Adventureland
Bengal Barbecue

NOTE: These are all Restaurants found on the Disneyland & Disney's California Adventure park maps. These are found under the "Healthy Foods and Vegitarian Options", which is denoted by a red apple. There may be places where they offer vegitarian options, but are not listed, but these are the official places stated by the Disneyland Resort.

I reviewed a book about vegetarian dining at WDW (http://www.mouseplanet.com/dtp/wdwrr/issues/vegetarian.htm) and while it's for WDW, a lot of the same things apply.
