I have never had an "adult" beverage at DCA, but was always curious....at what point do they cut you off? Is there a standard limit (2 drinks per person, period) or does it have to do with your behavior? Not that I am looking to get smashed there, just curious how Disney handels the situation.

When I worked there this past summer, all I was told was to make sure that the person was old enough to drink and they could only take one at at time. They never said anything about when to stop selling drinks. This was in Taste Pilots so they may do things differently in Pacific Wharf or in Ariel's Groto (I think Ariel's Groto is more 'hard' liquor so they may stop selling drinks at a certain time there). Hope that was helpful!

I'm sure it involves the security guards.
When you get to a certain point they probably just remove you from the park.

I know from experience that they don't mind if somebody gets three beers and a margarita while hanging out on the wharf. :) The Karl Strauss beer is awesome! I love the Red Trolley Ale. It's a little stronger and has a great flavor. Wow... It's only 10am but I could really go for a beer at DCA right now. :D

At the cove bar, they serve strong margaritas. I've had more than two at once, but also I have seen a rowdy group of young 20-somethings get cut off (although they were doing shots). The bartender told them "Atleast you can now say you've been cut off at Disneyland!" By the way, Screamin' is great after a few margaritas =)

The bartenders at the Vineyard room are often generous. Several times I've had martinis topped off. :D
Once I had 3 throughout dinner. On the way out, DH and I watched the Electrical Parade. It really is something when you are a bit past tipsy!

I was at Grand Californian Bar on New Years Eve and had two martinis and drank the rest of my friend's Jose and Ginger and no one said anything.

A few friends and myself have had wuite a few drinks at the Grotto. The funny thing is that CMs will say the names of drinks. It was funny being in A Disney Park and the CM asking if I want a Liquid Cocain or a Red-headed Slut. As for cutting us off. We each had a couple Liquid Cocaines (Bacardi 151, Yaeger, and Goldschlager) as well as a few Long Islands. I was shocked that Ariels Grotto has a wider selection of liquor then some bars in Hollywood. Let's just say after that, CA Screamin was much more fun, and actually danced during BPB. tehe

At the Warf Beer Truck they will only allow you to purchase as many drinks as the number of adults present or nearby that can be seen who have ID. You can come back and buy as many beers (one at a time) as your body can take without getting "cut off". If you start acting beligerant or something, I'm sure they will stop serving you.

A margarita or two make flicks fun fare with the kiddies bearable. I did notice that when my 19 year old daughter was carrying my drink and sipping no one gave us 2nd look. Also when she was married at the resort no one questioned pouring her champagne . My take was as long as your were causing a scene it was not a problem.
