Upon much debate over bringing my (expensive) jogger, renting a stroller, or buying a cheapo, I have decided on the third option. I would rather not take a chance on having my stroller stolen or damaged on the airplane, and I would like to have a stroller for transport outside of the park.
That's not my question though. I was at DLR last April without my littler one and vaguely remember seeing a couple areas that were thick with parked strollers. Does each land have a designated 'stroller parking' area or something of the sort? If not, how do you choose where to leave your stroller?

It's not really per land it's more a general area, usually by attractions.
Fantasyland proper is a bit tight so you're more likely to find a parking spot by one attraction and then visit multiple attractions without moving it much.
There's a big parking are by Small World - during the day it might be across from the Small World queue, closer to parade times, they discourage that area. Most of the time there's a big parking area on the little road between iasw and Toontown.
Usually, just look for the other strollers and you'll see where to "park". If you have trouble, there are usually CMs around who you can ask.
Also, to reduce the chance of having your stroller stolen, you can park defensively. Park "in" as much as you can. I've moved strollers aside to get close to a fence, then put them back so they're blocking mine in. I also pull the hood down and set the brake.

We have left our strollers for hours at a time and never had anything bothered. When we are there our stroller is like a locker cause we have everything we need stored on board for the day. I am even quite dumb at times and have left the camcorder and camera on board. Maybe I've been lucky but have not had any problems.

a good tip I read was to tie something out of the ordinary to your stroller to remind others it's not theirs!

Tie something bright and maybe a little raised so that you can spot it easily like a cut down safety bike flag. not only will you be able to spot it in the mass of strollers quickly others would be less likely to take off with it since its obviously not theirs.
