View Full Version : March or May trip to Disneyland

We are getting ready to plan another trip to Disneyland. We can't take our kids out of school again as we took them out for a week in October during our last trip. So our options are March21-28 during spring break or May 24th-June1st after school lets out. Which time is less crowded? We have only ever gone in September or October when crowds were light and once in April when the crowds were a little bit heavier. Thanks in advance!

I went two years ago in early june and it wasn't crowded at all. We might have been lucky. It was one of the grad nights so the park closed early (we only went for one day). I think people avoid going on those days, but it made up for the early closure with short lines. plus alot of schools (alomost everyone in washington) don't get out till mid june.

Sorry I got my dates wrong it would be March13th-17th! Anyone with any info would be great!

Going by this http://www.scottware.com.au/theme/feature/crowds.htm the May dates would be lighter crowds. Of course with the 50th who knows!

Okay we have decided to go March13th-17th. I am hoping the crowds are manageable since we will be there during the week. I know with the 50th there really isn't a slow time, we were just there in October and it was much busier than a regular October, but still very manageable. We obviously had a blast because we are heading back again! Thanks for all of the input this site and all of the posters have made our trips so much better!
