"The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think, say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company...a church...a home. The remarkable thing is that we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we embrace for that day. We cannot change our past...we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play the one string we have, and that is our attitude... I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you...we are in charge of our Attitudes!"

Remember those people who stood up on the Matterhorn and lost their heads or got caught between the wall on America Sings and were crushed? Yep, they complained pretty loudly to City Hall because their day was ruined too. Blame Walt; after all, if he hadn't built the darn park there never would have been a problem in the first place.

I understand the problem with the complainers, but I wish people wouldn't assume that everyone is just trying to screw people over. My boyfriend's father had a mild stoke and fell down while we walking to the Matterhorn. As I looked around for a CM (who got there right away), some guy walking past says, "Oh, look. Some guy fell down to try to take Disney for a bunch of money." I couldn't believe it. Not everybody is trying to screw Disney over.

P.S. Disney was absolutely wonderful and perfect in taking care of things that day. Amazing CM's. We are so grateful.

I've got a complaint about people in the park. These are the ones who do not hear the part of rides or shows that say "no flash photography", yet they still seem to miss this part.

This happens on many occasions of various rides, but this one time on Pirates, I turned to look at something and "POW". Right into the retinas I tell you. I honestly do not think I could see for 15 seconds afterwards. You know, the big $1000 dollar digital flash camera style "POW".

Fortunately, the lady saw the error of her ways and said she was sorry and did not do it again.

I mean, really, is not part of the magic just using your memory recall. Instead of spending time taking tons of pictures, enjoy the moment for a change.

I'm done complaining. I must apologise since this has recently happended to me. It seems funny to me now honestly.

That reminds me of years ago when my DD and I were in the park early on a rainy day. We went on POTC and we were the only ones in the boat!!! (No one in front or behind in other boats either) I told her I was going to take a bunch of pictures because I would probably never have a opportunity like this again in my life!!! We got nice pictures and no one was bothered.:)

Geeze, you're at Disneyland! Don't let a little dust in your eye get you down that much.

Enter my in-laws.

Later after that incident, my DH and FIL were on Screamin' and it broke down right before they were shot off. So, of course, they had CM's there taking people off the ride. My soon to be ex- Step-MIL (they are getting a divorce), then leaned over and said, "Oh, it must have been our complaint about Pirates that they are now making sure they have enough CM's on each ride to help people out."

Yeah, cause everything that you say changes the way that Disney does things all together.

Actually at Screamin' everytime the ride breaks down they always have two cast members at each train. Sorry it wasn't because of their complaint. It's policy on that ride I know because I work there.

There's an easy way to check that lady's Casey Jr. story... go to first aid and see if she really went there for her eye. You have to sign in. It's surprising to think they don't have SOME sort of eye wash. That story sounds fishy to me, but who knows. I'm just cynical.
