We Hearts are doing our best to keep that man in line while you are busy. It is a hard job I tell you. :p ;)

You two are going to have such a fun trip.

Leslie and Ruthie - good to know there other romantics out there. Yes I know we will have lots of fun and I'll make sure he posts photos on his website...I was so touched when I made it into his blog the first time. I was so famous!! :)

Enjoy your weekend. Sara

I have no idea about the crowds and the weather, BUT!!

4. If you go for multiple days, take multiple shoes. And do not take new shoes! Take bandaids. You will love me for that tip! ;)

Thanks for that tip - I would have never thought of the bandaids!

Just go there. There is only one single first-visit to Disneyland, don't spoil those magical first impressions by looking for that one thing you read about it here!!!!
(but do experience a dole whip!)

I will just let it happen and enjoy myself - thanks...
ps - what is a dole whip?

Sara

Something you'll need when he takes you to that private bathroom with the lock on it.

A Dole Whip is a light, creamy, frozen pineapple ice cream desert that is available at a little shack outside of The Tiki Room in Adventureland. You can enjoy it while you wait for the show, or take it into the show, or just buy one as you pass by the shack. It's probably betteer when it's hot outside, but well worth tasting even on rainy days.

Oh... and "let it happen and enjoy" is the best possible attitude to take about Disneyland. :-)

Hi,

Take a bag with all the little extras you may need-- toiletries, advil, water, etc. If it's heavy, get a locker.

kiss your nice boyfriend,etc! :D

Have fun!!

Hi - should I take a small back pack with me, or a fanny pack to carry money and cell phone, lip gloss, etc?

Do they even let you take them on the rides?

And don't worry, I am sure I will be kissing him many times throughout the week! ;)

Thanks for the extra advice, Sara

[QUOTE=PragmaticIdealist]Congratulations, Sara.

This new beau of yours seems to have good taste, and I am sure your and he will enjoy yourselves thoroughly.

I think several people who have never visited Disneyland before often arrive with a few misconceptions. The place has hosted every American President alive since its opening in 1955, and several emperors; kings; queens; and other foreign heads of state. And, naturally, the specialness of the place continues to draw all walks of life from every part of the world to this day.

hey Matt! Thanks for the info and I ecspecially liked the above info, helps keep in historical perspective...which reminds me that being a child inside is a universal feeling and I am looking forward to doing and being just that.

Cheers, Sara
