Someone mentioned there are certain rides that even infants will be required to sit on their own and not in a parent's lap. Anyone know which ones those are?

He's 9 mos. btw.

Sorry, board hog......but miracle baby's first Disney trip is soon!

On our last trip it seemed the policy was different for every ride and some CM's requested the child sit on their own and some didn't. Specifically we were asked to set our child on her own on only one of our two rides on Pooh and on both rides on Astro Blasters. We held her during PP, Snow White, Pinocchio, Mr. Toads, Pirates, HM, JC, IASW, DL railroad (but be sure the child is SEATED on your lap!) Good luck keeping them on their own since I have seen many kids start out a ride on their own and end up in the parents lap at the end:D

Wow Astro-Blasters? I know we've been on that when we haven't been asked to. I've also sometimes been asked on Pooh but not always. I've always been asked on Roger Rabbit and I think I already made Poptart listen to my "I hate taking babies on Roger Rabbit for this reason" speech.

I know they'll ask you on Autopia but there's that 1-year-age minimum on Autopia, too.

Have we already given you the Baby Bjorn/Baby Sling yackety yack yet? Some of us adore our Baby Bjorns, some adore their slings. I can't speak about using a sling (so someone else chime in!) but I have been able to keep the baby in a Baby Bjron on a lot of rides and at 9-months it really will help in line!

I was surprized with the astro blasters too (we don't usually have a baby with us) but my logic was because you can spin the car - not as rough as roger rabbit but maybe a bumped head or two... could have been that particular CM...don't know. I just finnished posting on another thread...baby in a sling, big kids used the stroller we brough for her. Sling was wonderful!! baby was comfortable, parents were comfortable, mom still nursing loved the privacy it provided. Highly reccomended.:D
