I came across the information from www.techbargains.com accidently last Friday. After I found the Sony Customer Information Service Center number, 1-866-703-7669, at esupport.sony.com. I called and was given the UPS return information to-day at my email. Please be patient with the friendly Sony customer representative. In my case, she stepped me through all necessary procedures from power-on, ... , to reset. Afterward, she provided me with all necessary information to send back my two years old Sony digital.
