Just thought it might not be a no no asked for hints on finding hidden mickeys. anyone have anything that will help? people on vmk have tried to help but I don't know if they are hard to see or what? do you think people are messing with me. someone tried to show me two in town sqaure. couldn't find any yet,Zero!:confused:

--Moxcool! I might use or or two just to get an idea of what the heck I'm lookin for. I think I already found a couple but they don't register in mickeys found at vmk central. i wonder do you need to take a picture when no other guest is in the way? Like i said, i think I found one or two, but people are in the way would this still count if someone is in the way or not?

I don't think it matters if someone is in the way. I had several of my pictures have "things" in front of them (such as people or text or whatever). When you take a picture that actually features a hidden mickey, a pop-up window will say something like "You've found a hidden mickey! Congrats! Be sure to check your list in VMK Central to see how many you've got!" or something to that effect.

I found that my list was always one mickey short of how many photos I actually had. I could go down the menu and physically count that I had all fifty, but the little counter at the bottom said I only had 49. It took three emails and about a month before a VMK staff member got back to me that they'd corrected the problem and given me my prize. :rolleyes:

There's a wikipedia page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_Magic_Kingdom#Merchandise_cards) that's updated with regularity which offers a list of hints to find all 50 hidden mickeys, general information, and a few "freebie" codes near the bottom for vmk credits. Enjoy!

Enjoy!Thanks! it bugs that rooms crowded, with all kinds of text, make me a little leary of whether it will capture the mickeys correctly film. I wrote down a few of the spoilers to help understand what I'm looking for better. It definately helped! I have captured quite a few on my own, as well as well as a few wasted pictures! now I know to look for lighter spots rater than black shadows or sillouhuettes.

Arrgghh...

My daughter and I found all the hidden Mickeys (with a few pointers from SummerinFL ;) ) and got the PDF for the special prize. Read the fine print and said it is only redeemable in the parks until September 30, 2006. We're not scheduled to be in WDW until Oct 29!

Not nice to make these things redeemable only in the parks. :(
