Has anyone taken a taxi with a carseat for a small child before? Did two other passengers fit easily in the back seat as well? Also how many pieces of luggage will fit in the trunk with a stroller? thanks for the help, trying to decide whether to do super shuttle or taxi

I'm not sure, but Taxis are fairly large vehicles. I've always done SuperShuttle with a carseat and it's no problem at all. I guess it depends on what size your carseat is, though they don't vary all that much in width... also, trunk space will depend on what size stroller you're talking about and how small it folds down.

I used to have a '90 Camry. My mother in law who is a VERY large woman, fit in the backseat with me (mid-sized person) along with a car seat. The cars they use for Taxi's aren't any smaller then a Camry is/was, so I would say you'd be fine.

As for trunk space, I think you really have to go by what car you get. They can vary a LOT. My sister in law as a newer Camry and that sucker has an endless trunk in it! You could easily fit 4 people in the trunk alone! ;)

I think we will probably go with the taxi instead of shuttle-so we can get right to the hotel check in and get to the parks for a few hours that evening instead of dropping others off and then us.
