Hi all,
My son has never been to legoland and REALLY wants to go there for his 3rd birthday. Are there any deals out there b/c his birthday is the 1st week of December and money gets pretty tight that month of course.

Let me know if you know of any.
Thanks!

I don't know how old it is, but we found a coupon on the back of a box of Hostess Cupcakes. The box said something about a sweepstakes to win a trip top Leoland. The back of the box had a cut-out coupon for $10 off each ticket. It was good until Dec 2006. So, check those Hostess Cupcake boxes at the store

If you are located in the So. Cal. area, perhaps this would be worth your while... don't know though.. it's what we have done and it works out great!

If your son is 3, you can get a model mom (dads can get them too, but only 1 per household) pass for $44, which I believe is cheaper than admission, or close to it, get your son an annual pass, and that way you can go on every Thursday for a whole year. Your son's pass would be valid all the days they were open.
I don't know if that is a "deal", but it is something that has worked for us, and it gives my son his Legoland fix.
Although, I don't know if that is exactly cheap to you, especially in December.

If you know someone who HAS an annual pass, there is a coupon that was mailed out with their newsletter that lets a "friend" in free for one day, starting November 3rd, till December 31st. The annual passholder MUST be with you, but at least that could be one ticket paid for, if the annual pass holder didn't have any plans for the pass anyways. The coupon can only be used by one person per day, or pass holder, so it would probably only work for one person in your group.

Don't know if that helped, but at least you got some info??

See my post http://mousepad.mouseplanet.com/showthread.php?t=49848 under a different LegoLand thread. Could not pass it up and am thinking of buying another box to save even more!

If you are a member of AAA, I think you can get a discount on tickets.

Yes, AAA members get 25% off admission for the month of November. My family and I were there this past Sunday and got the discount.

Costco down the road from LegoLand park for $35 (and second day is free), use your AAA card for $37, or get them at any Vons locations for $39...

....or so I read on Westcoaster. :)

Anyone know if the $35 admission "2-day" tickets can be used beyond the very next day? Whats the terms of this?

Nevermind, got my own question answered:

LEGOLAND® California Two Day for the Price of One Day Admission Ticket Information:

Two Day Park Admission
Second visit must occur within 7 days of first visit
Ticket Expires 11/10/06

BY the way, I got this $35 ticket and went today, and it turns out that during the month of NOvember, they're giving away an ADDITIONAL day, at guest relations which is good until March 2006. Therefore, if you actually use the 2nd Costco day within 7 days, it's basically 3 days admission for $35. Pretty cool.

As for the park? Thought Knight's Tournament was really cool, and laughed hysterically during Fairy Tale Brook. Otherwise, not much for us big kids. But 3 days for $35? Can't say it was a bad deal....
