Iam having so much trouble trying too figure out where I should spend my birthday at. I live in California, so Ive been to Dl alot. Ive never ever been outside of the state or on a vacation, unless you call Mexico a vacation:rolleyes:. What do you think?

I'd say it really depends on a couple of factors.

Do you have tiime to go to Florida?
Do you have $$ to go to Florida, deal with travel, lodging, take time off work? Do you have a family you would take with you?

WDW is huge. DL/DCA you could do in a day or two.

WDW is an amazing, amazing place. It is expensive though as already pointed out. And if you do wind up going there, you have to plan reservations in advance for the majority of the sit-down restaraunts. You might also consider Universal's IOA and Studios. If you like swimming with dolphins, the Sea World facility in FL blows San Diego's away. Discovery Cove is in particularly amazing, but it is a higher priced attraction.

Heeey...I'm from Mexico just kidding

So...If you could, I would suggest go to WDW...You live in California...why not give it a chance...The mainstreams says that if you are growing up on DL, then you'll find WDW quite bizarre, but fun, but still not DL.....However, if you could, go to WDW and you won't be disappointed at all...

Try something new, go to WDW! I've been three times and I still love it :)

WDW has always seemed really confusing to me. Like all of the different parks, and having to do more than just walk across the entrance to get to the next park. DLR is the place for me.

i just went back to DL as an adult finally and loved it more than WDW. but i love to travel and of course disney + travel = even better lol. i say go for the trip to florida... it is crazier than DL of course as everyone has mentioned, but its still worth it.

I'm getting to be at an age where i dont like as many crowds/lines/people/humidity/etc. so we'll be going to DL as much more as possible than WDW. its quieter, calmer, more low-key, and less crowded and the weather is better heheh

but like i said, go to florida- it will be an adventure you'll never forget! its fun!

I also live in Southern California and am an Annual Passholder :D. I try to go to WDW at least twice a year and love it. One of my favorite times to go is during the Food & Wine estival at Epcot (usually Early October through Mid-November). Also, stating around November 14 the holiday lights and decrotations come on.

WDW is a great place to visit and can be done for less money then is thought, it is just a matter of knowing what hotels are available, what they offer, and what they are going to cost.

I recommend WDW. While DL is my favorite I think all Disney fans should go to both at some time. Epcot was breath taking and so was the Animal Kingdom.

given a choice where I wish to spend my vacation it would most assuredly be WDW. not that I don't love Dland, but lets face it dland is not a vacation. it's maybe two or three days in the midst of a very crowded city where no matter where you stay you are confronted by the outside world everyday. WW on the other hand is a complete vacation experience. it seems no matter what your interest WDW will have it, and WDW will keep you happily occupied for days, even weeks. and while I readily admit to dlands charm, and the fact that it is the original dland is at best a diversion on a wider vacation.
