Here's something interesting:

USH prices have gone up! Raise prices, close attractions--brilliant!

Adults were $43, now $45.
Children were $33 (ages 3-11), now $35 (ages 3-9). Sneaky, eh?

And, perhaps the worst of all, the senior rate has gone from $37 to $43. BUT the senior rate is no longer posted on the ticket booths. You have to specifically request the senior rate--so most people will assume there is no senior rate, and there's a few more dollars for USH.

Thoughts?

As regards the other "current thread" on Universal's "Annual Pass promotion", this would mean that the price of an annual pass has gone up $2 ............

Seems fair given that Disney's AP pass is $99 - Universal Hollywood is about 45% of what the experience is at DLR.

Ya know, I was visiting the Universal website a few days ago and noticed that they were listing the general admission price as $45. At the time I thought it was extremely bold of Universal to beat Disneyland to the punch. Then today on the boards I saw that Disneyland had raised their general admission price to $45.

I honestly don't know how Universal can justify this price increase. They seem to be doing just about everything to get people to visit (ignoring their if we cancel our popular shows they will come logic). So, wouldn't having ticket prices set TWO WHOLE DOLLARS lower than Disneyland be a great way to draw the people to the park who are still sitting on the fence when it comes to which park they plan to visit? I'm sure Universal thinks that by revamping their special effects show they are completely justified with their price increase - but they didn't add a show, they just revamped an outdated one.
