...and add a copy of that creepy big king-head in the TV commercials next to the chicken...

They already have him! His head anyway. If you take the train to NOS he is in with the collection of Mardi Gras supplies.

I think it's great! A crappy movie character from a crappy movie for a crappy park!

So when did you get to see the movie?

It reminds me of Pidge, the youngest member of the Voltron Force.
Still waiting for Voltron to come out on DVD.

I'll say!

"Honey, I blew up our chicken dinner!"

"But the good news is, the legs and thighs will last us all winter!"

Ok, I've decided. It's kinda cute, if a bit big, but the reason it doesn't look right (to me) is 'cos it's sooo out of place where it is.

Well, regardless....

I know the second my son sees it, he will shout excitedly " It's Chicken Little, Mama! It's Chicken Little!! See? See!? "

And for me that's all that matters :)

So when did you get to see the movie?

Do I need to watch it to know it'll suck? No way. It has nothing to do with traditional Disney Animation. It comes from the company that made "Brother Bear" and "Home on the Range". It's the second CGI movie the company has made, after "Dinosaur" (YUCK!)The main character looks awful. The previews are laughable. Pixar had nothing to do with it. The movie's director, well... only has made one decent movie as a director (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0227540/ - look out, Toy Story III's director, here's a guy that is almost as capable as you!).

Besides, come on... it's Disney! Have you seen their latest movies? They all have one thing in common - they all suck to no end!

I wish we had a "Lion King" or "Mermaid" in our future, though.

hmm...sounds like someone is being a bit harsh about disney films ;) i would have to agree that there havent been many GREAT disney movies latley but to me that means that for the time being they have run out of great ideas. And untill they come up with some good ones i suggest one, we all just take it as it comes or...maybe you have a better idea which you should take to disney. Im not trying to be rude, infact i agree with you alot, but i dont think complaining about it is going to do us anything. I have always been told that complaining is for the people that lack the self confidence to fix they're problems themselves...so we hate disney? LETS FIX IT. ok so maybe it isnt that easy. But all we can do is hope that in the future we are hit with a good film and thats all we can ask for. Right now im just thankful that matt oiumet is with us fixing up after the previous park managers. Lets all be thankful for what we have instead of what we dont have with disney!!! AHH HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH once again. ;)

Is that the float for the thanksgiving parade? I hope they don't leave it up very long because it makes DCA look even cheaper.

Everyone's a critic...of course movie critics will actually go and watch the movie first before they pan it...

Yeah, actually, you do. You can say that from what you know about it, it doesn't sound like it will be any good or that it doesn't interest you in the least, but to say something is bad when you haven't even seen it is stupid, imo.

>>i would have to agree that there havent been many GREAT disney movies latley but to me that means that for the time being they have run out of great ideas.<<

What they have run out of is capable management that honors the name Walt Disney and all it once stood for. The ideas are out there!

>>Everyone's a critic...of course movie critics will actually go and watch the movie first before they pan it...<<

But they get in for free.

The flaw in Hollywood's system is they expect audiences to pay for it first and then they'll call it successful even if nobody likes it. So the only way to "vote at the box-office" is to judge first...

I think the chicken head is great!!! It is just another way Disney just keeps things exciting!! Who would expect to show up at DLR and she a big Chicken Head?

I for one, actually thinks that the movie looks cute. I do not care for the giant Chicken Little at the entrance to DCA though! What about the poor people that have never been to DLR before and want to take a picture of the DCA entrance...they are stuck with a giant chicken in all the pics! Eww!

On DaddyB's weekly photo update, he included some shots of it and mentioned that it looks like Chicken Little is relieving himself back there. I couldn't agree more, it totally looks like that! :D

I agree, the movie looks cute, heck I even think the little chicken is cute.... but NOT 50 feet high looking over the park.

the chicken head does not look as bad as everybody is making it out to be...if it were at DL i would have a problem but its at DCA so who cares. the whole park is an ad anyway...so whats one more advert?
