It went great for us!!!
Seriously, it was a lot of fun. It was really tough and the quests were super creative! I am too tired to post a lot of details, but I will tomorrow!

I heard that they were more evil than they've ever been.

All I can say is wow! That was super evil - yet also super fun. Our team (The Lucky Stars) Didn't even come CLOSE to finishing but had a blast trying!
Thank you to all the MousePlanet staff for another creative, surprising, brain bending, foot blistering, nerve jangling, and fun MouseAdventure. We can't wait til the next event!

Such the giving leader! ;) Hope it was fun for you guys as well! :) :) Passing out prizes, watching people scrambling around as you knew the answers all along. One of these times, I need to come down and check out this MA business. Not to do the race, but, to do a case study! ha! :D

I just want to say that after all the MAs, you'd think you'd run out of ways to torture us, but noooooo! And I love it :~D
Thanks for another brutally challenging and fun MA. The newbies on my team had a great time, and I'm sure we'll all be back for more :D

And someone thought the game too light this year...
You all were troopers--Emma and I had a great time helping out at Pooh/evil blacklight Saturday night and at VMK Sunday. Also a shout out to Lawn Knee for hosting our first virtual MA lounge.:D

We (The Great American Jackalopes) had an awesome time! :D The MP Staff rocks! Thanks for a great time this weekend. I appreciate all your efforts! A special thanks to AdrienneK and Alex for sunburning their eyeballs so we could enjoy the Hefflebee quest. It was a cool quest and we were pretty excited to have solved that one.
We were pretty high after Saturday night feeling like we did pretty well. Sunday, we had to make some guesses. They must have been wrong, as we didn't place. I'm looking forward to seeing the results later this week!
I am curious, where in the world is the 50th logo in the castle courtyard, and is it smaller than a piece of paper?

We got to hear last night about the Pooh quest from some people on the tram. That is the coolest thing ever!

Wow... that was amazing!! It was our first time competing but we will definitely be back. We didn't do too badly either... team Simba's Pride finished in a tie for 2nd in the Sat/Sun event! Whoo hoo!!
Ok, I just have to say, the Mouse Adventure staff was so wonderful, helpful, and organized... thank you!! And whoever comes up with this stuff? Evil geniuses. I couldn't sleep Saturday night, I kept having dreams of WHO is Floody, solutions to 972 encrypted alphabets, and WHY is the heffalump song still stuck in my head????
Anyway, yeah, we're hooked. Exhausted though... soooo tempted to call in sick!

It was our first time competing but we will definitely be back. We didn't do too badly either... team Simba's Pride finished in a tie for 2nd in the Sat/Sun event! Ok, now that is impressive! You guys must be puzzle geniuses!
The Happy Haunts had a blast as always. I am continually amazed at the commitment the staff makes to this event, but this time you guys had to go above and beyond. Kudos!
Hehe, I wish "Lawn Knee" would have said that was who she was...we only found out later...but in the VMK room she said "Yay" and "Awesome" when we finally got our coded team number across to her. That was a fun quest, and good to "see" her at least once that weekend!
Speaking of Lani, it figures she couldn't make it out to DL this time around...see Ghoulish Delight's shirt below and don't forget to scroll all the way down...

For comparison, here are the original prints - Frontierland (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v254/codexjen/originalfrontierland.jpg) and Adventureland (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v254/codexjen/originaladventureland.jpg).
Huzzah for inside jokes...
Now, I absolutely MUST find out the answers to nearly all of the quests....there were so many we were unsure whether we got right or not. We must've blown the Fantasyland/Hidden Mickey map one, and for the Roger Rabbit counting game we threw in some fudge factor to get round numbers. Etc, etc.
Floody?? Who names a ride vehicle Floody??? There isn't a Mr. Toad's car named "Train" or "Hell" or "Sheep on the Bridge"!!! Vehicles are named after characters!!! Grr. ;)
All last-minute-rushes-back-to-Critter-Country aside, we had a blast as usual, and I particularly enjoyed the night portion. Crowd management is something we're particularly good at, I think, and we timed things well what with parades/fireworks/Fantasmic.
Are we going to find out how we did on each day seperately? I'd like to compare how well we did Sat vs Sun.
Thanks again to everyone involved, especially those who nearly went blind!

Considering the costume EyeSpy element of this particular MA, the little girl's eye spy clipboard is eerily foreshadowing...
I missed the crab hats at the event. But Ghoulish Delight's shirt just absolutely cracked me up. Very well done!

I didn't get to talk to you much at the event but when I saw your team walking up to me at the stage and realized who you were, I was so excited for you! It's so much fun to meet any first time team! We had a few first time teams this go-around who I enjoyed meeting!
I was so excited for your team!

It seemed so much harder this time than last... the party pickles didn't do so hot. But we're learning from our mistakes. We did have a whole lot of fun, and that's what counts! :D

I'm glad I had a chance to talk to almost all of the teams this weekend... :) (for those who didn't know -- I was the girl in the Mary Poppins shirt and "Practically Perfect" hat)
Thank you to the last few grouping of teams Saturday night who made it through Trivia Under the Treehouse (the highest point in Adventureland) and had to answer questions with the fireworks and Fantasmic in the background.
And Sheila and I were both shocked at the amount of teams that made it to Tom Sawyer's Island (in the rain)... And now we all know where the pipes are and which one on the bottom goes with which one on the top.
On behalf of the Slap-Happy Hostesses (myself and Sheila) we love you all and hope to see each and every one of you in the spring

I'd have to say that the Tom Sawyer's Island quest was one of my favorites! I am glad we got over there to do it!
Hey, what was the answer to the color of Autopia car? We just made up an answer and I wondered if it was right.
Hehe, I wish "Lawn Knee" would have said that was who she was...Credit goes to whoever (LisaP?) came up with that homonym. I was very frustrated at the VMK word filter, as it wouldn't let me type my name. After a while, LisaP turned into "Less awe" or something, and AVP was "A Dream" which is the closest I could get it. Someone suggested "leave saw" and that was pretty clever.
If I'd known it in advance I would've tried various combos of words that sounded like my name.
But thank you for identifying yourselves as the Happy Haunts. There were some folks I recognized (not just from announcing yourselves but from your own personal VMK names) and that was pretty nifty.
And your shirts are HILARIOUS!
Of course, all I could do was post words and dance/wave. The VMK characters are like little stiff Lego people. LOL.

It was the gold car in the Autopia "gift shop." Oooh they are tricky!

It was the gold car in the Autopia "gift shop." Oooh they are tricky!Speaking of that one, thanks to the guy who yelled out, "IT'S THE GOLD ONE!" as my team was passing by. We were headed that direction and would like to think we would have gotten it ourselves in due time, but that was DEFINITELY helpful! The rest of his team didn't seem too happy with him, tho! :p
I say this every time, and I will keep saying it every time: the MouseAdventure staff continues to blow me away with its sheer creativity, hard work, and wonderful attitudes. Dorks, Inc. had SO much fun and we look quite forward to next time.
Now, come on people - let's discuss more of the quests! Was it the Pizza Port sodas for the final part of the VMK quest?? We kept getting turned around. LOVED that quest, tho, because one of my teammates and I are VMKers. I didn't even think of signing in as my character. That would have been fun.
I was giggling like a psychopath on the Pooh ride when the message appeared on the postcard, but I have to say my favorite part was being able to shoot on Saturday night! I am curious to see how well I did compared to others. I missed 2. We all agreed that it was fun to have to use an actual pysical skill (not that using a protrator isn't an AWESOME skill, one which I do not possess and am SO glad my teammate does).
