Hey everyone,
I have not posted very often or much at all. I seem to be more of a reader than a poster.
Anywayz, I am an MC at Legoland California. There has been a rumor going around the different areas speculating about a new area opening in the park. It seems to have been somewhat confirmed with the last all MC meeting we had Monday.
This new "area" would reportedly be in the form of a "pirates" theme. Probably themed with the LEGO Pirates toy line in mind.
From what I have heard... they plan to have this area be a water area mostly. There are talks of Legoland finally getting a flume type ride for this area.
The area has been said to be planned for an area behind the Garden Green restaraunt. From what I was told this area should see construction starting by the end of the year or beginining of '06, with a opening for sometime in Summer 2006.
Please take this as a rumor, albeit a very very strong rumor. I for one am glad that we are now owned by Merlin Entertainment Group. Should see some great changes coming.
