My hubby and I are interested in the Knotts Halloween party and I saw on the website that it's not recommended for KIDS.

Are there any hotels near Disney that offer good reliable childcare options? Anybody have any ideas or suggestions on this?? Thanks!

If you stay at the Disney owned hotels and your children are between the ages of 5 and 12 you can use the Pinocchio's Workshop (http://www.mouseplanet.com/akrock/ak010706.htm) services but you can only book in advance if you're staying at the Grand Californian Hotel.

Another padder recently posted about hiring the Fullerton Childcare Agency to come babysit her son in their hotel room. You could find that thread by searching for "Babysitting" under the "search this forum" tab on the Parenting in the Parks index page. (upper right above the first post of the thread or on the forum index page.)

None of the hotels have their own services but many will give you the names of outside agencies if you call and ask them.

I can't recommend a specific hotel, but I just quickly searched "anaheim hotel childcare" and lots of stuff came up... you will probably need to contact individual hotels to check for their policies and room availability.

However, the Knott's site is right... do not under any circumstances take your children there for the Halloween event... it's very inappropriate for children.

Thanks guys! I found some places on google and such, But I prefer to talk to real parents to see which agencies and such are good.
