Is anyone familiar with Six Flags "Guest with disabilities policy" I have heard that they are the worst park to go to and I am going this Sat with family and am a bit concerned.
We do not need a wheelchair it is for behavioral issues and for me it is physical but I know most parks do not give out anything for endurance issues just suggest wheelchairs.
Thanks in advanced for any advice!

If your talking Magic Mountain, I have family that work for the company and we refuse to visit that park thanks to the distinct LACK of accomodations made for the guests with disablities!

This is what I have heard and I may not be able to go if this is true:-( I am going to call them in the morning to see if the have modified anything. If not I will not go. We would be there for 4 hours during the Regular day then it is a private party after 8 PM I may just not ride anything with really long lines until the private party. I don't know if I even want to deal with it!!!! Thankyou MammaSilva.

Please post what you find out so I can check that against what we've been told thru internal sources to see if the information 'matches' we have passes that are good at all Six Flags parks but have never once bothered to even stop when in the area due to what we've been told in the past.

Okay, I just contacted there Guest relations Dept. It had changed since the last time I was there a few years back. They now have a special assistance type pass. What you do is bring in documentation (if your disability is invisible) and they give you a Come Back Time Pass. You show the pass to the cast member at the exit and they right down the wait time of the line on the pass. So if it is 1 PM and the line is one hour long, they will let you come on through the exit at 2 PM. She did inform me that guest in Wheel chairs do not need the pass because the lines are wheelchair assessable and the ones that are not you go through the exit without the pass. (unless there is another underlying condition that the guest can not wait in the line.) I was very pleased with this for me but I don't know how kids would handle it because they are very routine and they are used to getting on pretty fast so I am not bringing them for this trip. I am going to do fast pass at Disneyland first to see how they handle that before I introduce them to a new park.
Last time I went I was there one hour and had been waiting at the exit of a ride in the sun and I had a major seizure and had to go to there first aid and had to leave the park after only one hour. And there answer was that the rides meet the ADA guidelines when I called and complained. I would not go back but it is the firefighters private party on Sat. and someone is paying for it. I am hoping I will not even need the pass after the park is closed to the public.

Please report back on how well it works for you. I know they've been working on trying to improve guest relations but so far I haven't heard anything that would make me change my position on that park.

Well we are not going today because it was a private party for fire fighters and they are all worn out from the recent fires in southern California and some are still on location. Also the person who has our tickets is on location so we have no tickets! LOL But we plan on going soon.
