My daughter and her fiancee are both United States Marines.
They are getting married on Nov 5 of this year, and I will gladly pay if someone will send them a post card congradulating them on their wedding, signed by Mickey!
I have always made my daughter believe that I had a 'special' connection with "The Mouse" and to get a card with a postmark from DL on the other side of the world will make her 'believe' it's still true!!
As I said, I will pay for the card and the postage and a little something for the trouble. I have postcards coming from DL and WDW and am trying to get one from each Disney park.

Since she was little, I have always made my daughter believe that I have a 'special connection' to "The Mouse". She always used to believe that getting vacation info from DL was coming directly to ME from Mickey. Of course she's all grown up now but I still tell her that I have that connection. We even found a stray baby kitten, white with black markings and one of the markings is a 3-circle Mickey symbol!
ANYWAY....
I am asking if anyone going to DL in the next few weeks will send a postcard from there, congradulating them on the wedding. I will gladly pay for the card, postage and a little something for the trouble. To get a card from 'Mickey' (or any other character!) would be fantastic!

Unfortunately, there is no "Disneyland" postmark.
All the mail dropped into the park's mail boxes is postmarked "Anaheim CA".

I think an Anaheim postmark counts as "coming from Disneyland".

Hi I'm headed to Disneyland this weekend I can certainly try to do that for you if you'd like, and if it's not too late. I'm new to the board, but I'd like to try and help. Just let me know.

I will be there on the 15th, if that is not too late. Just let me know, and I can do it for you. What a neat idea!! I'll have to do that sometime for anyone I know who loves Disney.

The card from Mickey and Minnie at DL is on it's way to your kids. Mickey gave me a big hug and kiss when I told him who the card was for and Minnie jumped and clapped her hands! I hope they will enjoy it and it will be a nice surprise!

I would like to thank all of you who sent postcards (and more!) from Mickey, Minnie and others....
My daughter was overwhelmed by all the people who would do this for total strangers:D . She was brought to tears a number of times, as was I...
At the wedding (the reception was held in the same place) I displayed all the cards and photos on a table and they were a hit! EVERYONE commented on them!!!
