We're starting the day at Goofy's Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel, then I was wondering the best way to get to the park with one person with a cane and one in a wheelchair? I'm thinking the monorail, but it'll be early in the morning and we won't have park tickets yet. Don't they only take handstamps now?
Or can I purchase park tickets before the day we arrive? And would that get us on the monorail before going to the park? Or any suggestions?
Thanks!

You can buy tickets ahead of time at the park, or online. Are you just getting day passes or will you be going multiple days? There are park hopper passes sold online and you save a bit by preordering.
The monorail would definitely cut down on the walking, but you need a valid Disneyland ticket to ride it.

Where will you be staying and how are you getting to the Disneyland Hotel? If you are driving there, you can park in the Hotel parking lot (bring in your parking ticket so that the folks in GK's can validate it) or you can park in the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure across the street and walk over to the Hotel and take the Monorail to the park from there, it's located next to the Rainforest Cafe' or if you park at the Hotel you can drive across the street to the parking structure and ride the transportation (either the tram which has a section for handicapped or there is a van for handicapped) provided to the park.
You can buy your tickets the day before or you can purchase them at the Disneyland Hotel Front Desk. The walk from the DLH to the park is about 10-15 minutes.
