We're planning our honeymoon in So Cal for the end of Nov/beginning of Dec and I have a quick question about Sea World:

How long should one allow time wise for a day at Sea World? We're planning on buying a Citypass and using it for admission to Sea World (just 2 adults if that matters). So let's say we can get there @12noon on the day after Thanksgiving (Fri 11/25), if they're open until 7:30pm is that enough time or will we leave feeling like we need those extra 2hrs that we're missing out on by not arriving @opening time/10am?

thanks so much for your help!!

I haven't been in a few years, but in my opinion, I think the time you have set aside for this is adequate to do many things there, especially with no little ones in tow. I don't think you'll leave feeling like you missed out on a lot.

On a side note my fave thing to do there was the stand that has the oysters. You choose one and they open it up and you get the pearl inside. You can then choose a piece of jewelry to have it set in. If this is still around I would say it is a must do, especially on a honeymoon trip. :)

In the mid-seventies, Sea World had diver dressed as Japanese pearl diver (Anyone know how they are called? It sounds like Hama girl) who dived into the bottom of the pool to get your lucky oyster. I made the ring for my ex-girlfriend, of course, my wife now. She was sixteen then, and everyone called me cradle robber up till now.

Sea World is a place where you go for the rides and attractions. The displays can be done in less than an hour. You will be able to watch all that it offers within the time period. One thing that annoys me the most wass the separate food and drink lines during the crowded summer season.

Don't forget to go to the Old Town for a delicious mexican dishes.

on a non-busy day it can be done in one day. We just went in august and it was very busy and we still got it all done in basically a day. we did have reserve seating for all the shows though, so that helped. We got there around 1pm on saturday and left around 2 pm on sunday...so basically one day...:)
