:mad: Can anyone help with this...I resize my picture to the correct pixels..save it as a jpeg or gif and it is only 7kb but when I look at the properties for it it says it is 7kb but 32 kb on disk? What am I doing wrong? :rolleyes:

You're not doing anything wrong. File systems have a minimum cluster size, so a very small file will still take up that minimum size on disk. When you upload your avatar, vBulletin will (should) see that the file is actually 7 KB and allow you to use it.

I am seeing some compression artifacts in your avatar image, though. You're allowed up to 23.4 KB, so you might try using less JPEG compression.

I will work on that. It let me change it tonight when it wouldn't last night. I may play with it some now. THanks for the quick reply

I thought the max allowed was 19.5 KB.

The maximum size of your custom image is 150 by 150 pixels or 23.4 KB (whichever is smaller).
