Off the 134?
|
View Full Version : Has anyone stayed at the Safari Inn? CariBelle 09-06-2005, 12:38 PM Off the 134? Opus1guy 09-06-2005, 04:24 PM I have, but it's been like 15 years or so. It's an old style 1950's motel. It's used in tons of movies and commercials. At one point in it's life it had fallen into quite a sad state of disrepair. But I understand they've refurbed it and really kept it up and made it kind of a hip retro place to stay now. If you stay there, let me know how you liked it, please. stan4d_steph 09-06-2005, 04:41 PM That's a pretty long haul for a trip to DLR. Are you planning to spend most of your time in LA? tod 09-06-2005, 05:04 PM I have, but it's been like 15 years or so. It's an old style 1950's motel. It's used in tons of movies and commercials. It is also in Burbank, very convenient to the Disney Studio but about a half-hour drive to Disneyland with no traffic, and as much as 90 minutes with. --t CariBelle 09-06-2005, 07:49 PM It's not for a DL trip, we are going to Universal (the forum there is super dead, so I was hoping to get a bit of help before I have to book!). The reviews I've been reading are about half and half, but I think we are going to go for it. Thanks guys! I will be sure to let you know how it turns out. stan4d_steph 09-06-2005, 07:50 PM It's not for a DL trip, we are going to Universal (the forum there is super dead, so I was hoping to get a bit of help before I have to book!).
