Dude, I was crying on my way home after the shows. I really hope the cast got how much the regs really enjoyed them. Seriously for the last two years I've been going there and for them to yank it away seems like crap.

Ble- where were you in the audience? I was part of "the girls." Also I was the one yelling out "Getting his ride pimped" and "Spicoli day" and the best "Ride Vodka Mountain".

I sat in the center towards the back.. I was behind the guy who does Push and talked to him a bit before the show started.. I was going to sit towards the front like I usually do but I wanted to talk to the guy who does Push.. He is a really nice guy. ;) But he got up just after the show started and stood in the back. But the show was great today and I will miss it.

You were talking to New Mark? He did a few DUH shows during the summer so I call him New Mark. He did something today that was just really rad. He went up to Michael, the sound guy, and was like "I know I haven't been here long, but can I take a picture with you?" and it was really nice of him. I really like him, just not at DUH.

I talked to regular Mark today when they needed a volunteer to go outside, so my friends and I went. Yeah, I was the one when asked "did we hear or see anything?" I said "No, Mark kept us entertained." And then everyone started laughing and I didn't know why... Mark gave a thumbs up. Such a cool guy. I am really going to miss that show. I am going to post a nice long thought about it on my journal....

DUH is the Department of Untapped Hilarity or as we call it DUH. This show is entirely improvised, meaning there is no script and nothing written because we are too lazy to do so. What we need is for you, the audience, to yell out things. So what is your favorite color? What's your name? All of you should have a name... if not that's weird. What's your favorite ice cream flavor? Who's your favorite member of Def Lepard? (The answer should always be "Rick Allen" or "The one armed drummer")

Yeah seen the show too many times.

Yeah, I was talking to Mark. He is very nice. I enjoy watching him do Push. He is great at getting kids to do things. They are so darn cute to watch hehe. He was sitting towards the back in the beginning but got up either just before the show or after it started. I can't remember! I saw the 5pm show.. Sorry I think I missed the show where you went with Mark. I can't believe this show is gone. :crying:

Did anyone here videotape the last show on Monday? I would really like to get a copy of that show!

My family is very sad to see this go and I encourage everyone to fill out a comment card wishing for a return in Jan. My kids have loved this show as long as it has been there. We have seen so many shows, my kids can actually talk to each other in jibberish and mime and understand each other!

The cast was great, they are very talented and I hope Disney is smart enough to keep them around!

If you happened to video Monday's 5:00 show, please pm me! Thanks!

I never actually saw an entire DUH show. :( Man, that's a bummer. I thought they were changing the entire theater area back there as part of the redoing of the backlot?

Hey, I was at the last show yeasterday. It was awesome. I'm so sad they aren't going to be there any more it was my favorite thing to do at DCA, but Matt told me that there is a posibilty of them coming back in December. Does anyone know any of the cast and what they are doing now, whether it be at Disneyland or otherwise? I'd love to keep up with them. If anyone knows or hears anything, please let me know

Oh, by the way, I did get some videos from monday. They are the short 35 second ones from my digital camera, but with a little editing, they are great. I have some pics too.

Kinda weird because they recently had auditions for DUH.

DUH was pulled from the entertainment schedule simply because of its location in the Backlot. The suits decided that the ailing Backlot needed a facelift.

However, DUH managed to thrive in the Backlot for 2 years even though most of the rides, attractions, and restaurants around it were shuttered long ago (SuperStar Limo, Hollywood and Dine, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?). Over the time, it gained a loyal audience as well as providing a shady spot for regular one-time visitors who rarely left the show disappointed. It was a show that managed to be spontaneous while appealing to the kids and adults with a talented cast of experienced improvisers.

I will miss DUH. The last show was fantastic! I really enjoyed the "Do Run-Run" song and the "Day in the Life" scenes. The cast really got into it and made it a hilarious 45 minute show.

Here's hoping that it will come back in December. I'm really not one for shows, even though I've had an AP since high school, but this one was different.

[QUOTE=averagedork]Are you Easton and Nixon's dad? Dude that had me in stitches!

I'm the mom actually! You see why I want a video of that last show. For those of you that missed it, they did a day in the life of my husband. We were laughing so hard because they were being funny, but were amazingly close to our reality! It is true that we have gone to the show a lot and they had a good idea what Easton and Nixon are like, but the rest of us ...it was funny.

So some of DUH cast has been rotating into the comedy sketch that is in Frontierland in front of the Golden Horseshoe. I feel worried about if that will keep them around though or not. Hopefully Disney sees the value of a show that is never the same twice and can be enjoyed by all ages together and brings DUH back!

I have a picture that is pretty good of you guys.

Hey, like I said, I have some 35 second video clips of the last show, some of the family musical. The probelm is, I'm not entirely sure how to get them to people. Maybe we should start like a DUH appreciation website or something?

I too hope they bring DUH back. Now I wish I watched it more often these past months. I mostly been in Disneyland watching the bands play or watching Push. Dang.. Please Disney bring it back!

Dude your boys make me laugh so hard. They are so funny and hyper. I really liked what Matt and Mark did with that. Then how Rebecca played your daughter. So funny!

I really hope the suits actually realize their mistakes.

Charissa-post! post! Or email it over to me... That would be rad.
