Last week I took advantage of the advertised special at Ralphs (supermarket), and got myself a ticket to Knott's Berry Farm for $27.95 (anyway it was under $30, if I remember).
Anyone beat Ralphs?
Their offer might still be going on, since my ticket gave an expiration date of September, I think.
My buddy said the "Snoopy's Summer Vacation On Ice" has finished its run at the Charles M. Shultz auditorium.
So you guys missed out a cute musical diversion.
Have you walked thru the Roaring Twenties area?
The rides are the wettest rides! They could call that span of 100 feet, "Soak City," if you know what I mean!
I can imagine a teenager getting an annual pass to Knotts.
It is less money than DL, and (for a Sunday) not crowded like DL.
And the roller coasters are breath-taking!
The tiny tykes have their own "land" in the Camp Snoopy area.
That covers that market segment, no? (I have no children, so that level does not interest me.)
So, I think I got my $27.95's money worth, for a hot Sunday afternoon.

I think you did for the summer. There are even better discounts off season but some of the rides are down due to rehabs. But just as a reminder, you NEVER pay full price for Knott's...that's the truth. They always have specials on admission.

You would be surprised how many folks actually pay full price for Knott's (and I am talking about Adult Tickets), while over 50% of the Adult Tickets sold at the Main Gate are discounted in some form, there are a lot of folks who don't know where to look, or ask for a discount. Knott's will happily take their $45.
But Knott's is nice enough to list all the current discount programs at their website, in a nice clear format.

WOW, I just checked the current deals, and Knott's is now offering Seniors (62+) the same price as a child (3-11) ticket, just $14.95, no coupon needed!
That is a nice offer:fez:
Knott's also has an AMAZING interactive map at its website...

Use the right click to check out some of the animation... great stuff!

Back in the day when I worked in Knott's Guest Relations, we made sure that no one paid full price. But that was nearly 10 years ago when the family owned it. I used to love the Coke promotion because we'd tell people if they wanted to save near $20 to just go to grocery store a block or two down and get a can of coke. People would be so happy that we suggested this deal that they'd bring a six pack and give it to us. As underpaid theme park employees, we gladly accepted the soda to take on our breaks :)
But that was back in the day.
