Hello all

I am travelling with 6 friends from Australia to LA in October.I will be leaving them a day early and they thought they might like to go to USH for the day.
They will most likely be staying near the airport by this time.Is there direct transport available other than the shuttle services?
I thought I read somewhere that there was a train that ran directly to USH but I do not remember from where..
Any other options would be great !!

Thanks

Which Airport?

LAX? Then yes, you could take the train/subway...

Burbank/Bob Hope? A cab wouldn't be that much

Ontario? You could do a combination of Metrolink and the Subway

Long Beach? Then you would need to get back to the DLR to get on the train or a daily bus service

John Wayne/Santa Ana/Orange County - Same as Long Beach

Thanks darkbeer

yes they would be at LAX..probably at the Doubletree in El Segundo.

Do you know the name of the train system so maybe I can look up the info for them??

Thank you , this has been very helpful!

A free shuttle from LAX will take you to the Green Line, then transfer to the Blue Line, and then the Red Line to USH. (There is a free shuttle from the Universal City station to the Park Entrance). Your Hotel should provide you a ride to LAX, or maybe directly to the Green Line. Another option would be a shuttle service, but it would more than likely cost more, but should cut back the length of the trip.
