My youngest will be about 10 mos old when we take our trip next Oct and I was wondering if it's okay to bring some jars of baby food into the parks so she can eat too, or if I have to buy it at the baby stations?

It was never a problem for me going through security when I bring jars of baby food. The CMs always see them in our backpacks and let us through everytime.

No problem at all taking baby food in. We take in bottled water for formula, a few jars of baby food plus baby snack. We take in little snacks for the older boys too.

Shouldn't be a problem, just try and get the plastic ones (they are square) to be safe. And they don't care much about foods, heck, I bring a supply for my teens.

I think glass jars are an issue with the park. We've been fine with plastic bins and and baggies and such. And on a side note, a plastic jug of Gatorade can look a lot like Children's Pedialyte ;)

Considering most baby food sold are still in glass jars, it should be no problem. Actually I was told that baby food (for infants) are not a problem. The CMs should not have you throw it out considering it is the only food that you can give a baby. In addition, they sell the same food (glass jars and all) at the baby center but its an arm and a leg for it.

Just as a side note.... the baby center has high chairs for feeding. I remember loving to use the baby care center for feedings - it's air conditioned and they are not so over stimulated and distracted that they don't want to eat.
