My wife, six-month old daughter and I are going to DLR this December staying at the GCH.

I swear I remember reading a post stating you can request a refrigerator in your room you will not be charged if you tell them it is for storing breast milk for your baby. If this is not true, anyone know the charge for the fridge?

Can anyone confirm if this is true or not? My wife breastfeeds and we will be bringing a supply of breast milk with us and we'll need to keep it on ice (so to speak).

This is our first visit with our baby, so if anyone has any other helpful tips, please let me know…I’ve found a lot of useful info in this section and every little bit will help…thanks!

Last year, we stayed at the Paradise Pier hotel and asked for a fridge for breastmilk, and they didn't charge us. We also stayed at the Grand Californian and Disneyland hotels previously and asked for refrigerators (with no specific purpose) and were also given those free of charge. I don't know if their policy has changed.

You don't need to tell them that it is for breast-milk storage in order for it to be free, they don't charge for the extra fridge at all. I have only stayed at the GCH so I don't know how the other two hotels work, but at the GCH there is already a mini-bar fridge in each room it has a very small space for your personal use, but you can request a separate empty fridge if you need more room - last time they brought us two for some reason!
