Did they tear down the Worker Village on the Backlot?

Also does anyone have any pictures of it before it was tore down if it was?

Are you referring to Site B from Lost World? Which was next to the Psycho House? Last time I was on the backlot it was still up. This was mid June. Although most of it is blocked from view because of the War of the Worlds set. You could vaguely see bits of it hidden. Havent been down there since do I don't know if portions of it are still up. My guess is yes it should still be up, or at least a good portion of it.

I was just there yesterday. I couldn't make out if the steps leading up to Site B were still there, but most of the structure is still up. It's hard to see with the War of the World set however...

I mean the whole town, not just the Operations Center.

The whole town has been down for close to five years now. The operations center has been standing at the edge of the open field next to the psycho house since 2001. that field now is where the war of the worlds set is located. the operations center is still there but it is beyond the trees on the outskirts of the wotw set. they still have the vehicles set up along with some other props up near the greens department.

i would keep my eyes out though. once JP4 gets the green light, which it looks like it may soon. work may be going on for sets for it. if anyone was at USH during the filming of JP3, they had built a massive, and i do mean massive set for the end sequence in the lake. Use the link to see photos.

There are also shots of the Operations Center in here as it is seen back in 2000. The area where the golf carts and lights are standing is now where the WOTW set is.
