I was driving by Busch Gardens Williamsburg this afternoon, and noticed the top of a large crane in the vicinity of the Drachenfire rollercoaster. Portions of the ride track were missing. So, it seems the ride, which Busch hasn't run for the last few years, is finally coming down. This doesn't exactly break my heart, as I thought Drachenfire was about as enjoyable as being Mike Tyson's punching bag (a very rough ride), but it does have its fans.

Rumor had it that Busch was planning to run Drachenfire last summer, until an eagle built a nest on its highest hill (quite a sight). Let's hope they replace it with something good.
