I've been home for about 3 weeks now but I havn't had a chance to type out a long trip report and now I have forgot what I did on the days I was down there so I will give you all the highlights.

-Maybe it was because of the new ticketing system or just because it is smaller, but MK was always so much more crowded than the rest of the parks. I never got on Space Mountain because no matter what time of day (yes we even tried to get on it on one of the late nights at 1:30AM) it always had more than a 2 hour wait. In all of the other parks though it wasn't that bad...well despite Soarin'

-We waited on line for Soarin'. It was about 105 minute wait. Now let me set the scenario for you. In front of my party was about 3 Brazilian kids that were obviously part of a group. Now as we were walking into the queue some were in front of us. As we stopped to wait about 10 more came running in. That's fine. That doesn't bother me. So we are waiting and the queue behind us is starting to fill up. Then all of a sudden another (no the same) Brazilian tour group came but they were smart (or so I thought) and they all came on at the same time (all 50 of them). As we are waiting for like a 30 minutes all of a sudden the Brazilian group behind us starts clapping and chanting...starting off slow and then getting faster and louder until they start screaming. Okay once is fine, but they kept doing it. It was going on for a good 10 minutes and then the 15 Brazilian kids in front of started to do it and they also started that annoying, piercing whistling. My father all of a sudden snapped. He shouldn't have yelled at them, but sometimes his temper becomes short and he does snap. He did feel really bad afterwards, but they shouldn't have done that anyway. So then they started yelling to a couple groups behind us to what were 10 more kids of their group and they are waving them to come foward. We have now been online for about an hour. So I said "oh no way are they coming up here. You already brought 10 other people in front of us and you are not doing it again. You should have waited until all of you were ready to wait online." So of course they have no idea what i am saying and one of the guys started doing this gesture to me that in America is a not very polite thing to do (the under the chin motion). So I was like woaaaa what are you doing, but he kept doing it repeatedly so then I thought maybe it is not a bad gesture where he was from. Finally one of the girls stepped up and said "no we stay here and they stay there" and i said that's fine thank you and sorry if i misunderstood what you guys were doing. Then they start yelling and pointing me and shaking their heads. Oh man it was not a good 2 hour wait. The ride was pretty awesome. I always thought my feet were going to hit the water even though it is fake. Next time I am definitely fastpassing it.

-I love how the Land pavillion looks now as well. The food options are great too. Thumbs up from me.

-We had some trouble one night. We had our cars parked in Epcot and then as we were leaving asked 2 CMs that if we were to go over to MK if we could get the monorail back at 1am when MK closed. They both said yes. I said no but nobody listens to me. Well I guess you all know what happened. We were stranded at MK because the monorail back to Epcot closed. We asked two CMs over there how to get back and the way that we asked them they cut us off and told us like this happens all the time. So we waited for the bus at TTC to go to MGM and asked the driver to take us to Epcot. He did , but because half of our party was still at MK we told him that they would be coming shortly after. We had to walk from where the bus dropped us off at Epcot to the front of Epcot by the parking lot and the cleaning CMs were there with their rap music blasting. Then they saw us and must have panicked because when our other half came they said they weren't listening to any music, but just cleaning. It made us all laugh at how when you walk in you hear the Epcot music, but once it closes it turns into rap. We were technically the last people to be at Epcot!

-We didn't eat on property a lot. We actually ate at the Capone's dinner show. If any of you ever even consider this stop! It was disgusting! The food was gross and the show was even worse. One of the dancers was really good, but the other was horrid. She couldn't even do the steps. The costumes were falling apart. Just believe me when I say don't go.

-We ate at chef Mickey's and that is now my new favorite disney restaurant. I did the tango with Mickey ( and he even dipped me!) and told him I love him and that he needs to leave Minnie. I told Minnie that and she said no way. I had donald duck doing that cabbage patch. People I didn't even know were hysterical laughing and taking pictures of me. I had a lot of fun and the food was great. We also ate at Earl of Sandwich and I love that place too. The sandwiches were great.

-We went to AK really late and we were planning on spending the after hours there. It was pointless thought because the park closed at 6 and anything that has to do with animals closed at 7. So we didn't do anything that had real animals. I was kind of disappointed.

-We got the disney dining experience card because we were APers, and it did save us money, but next time we are definitely going with the meal plan.

-It's a small world is very bright and vibrant now. I love it!

-I saw a lot of people that I graduated with from HS. It was really weird, and of course the majority of them were people I didn't get a long with. I also saw one of my good friends there. We knew she would be down there staying at Pop century like us, but we never planned on meeting up. She actually ended up being on line behind us on Soarin'.

-They have these new cups at the WoD store that are like holograms I guess you can say. Like one of them has mickey and his guy pals on the bottom looking up at the fireworks display and when you move the cup the fireworks go off. Oh and if you purchased 75 dollars for an extra 5 you could get a disney party poster thing I guess you can say. I got it for my new apartment. I was so ecstatic.

-Light, Motors, Action was amazing and I loved every minute of it. I was in awe.

-There were two showings for Fantasmic and the lady at Sci fi told us to go to the second one and we wouldn't have to wait for a seat. We walked in 5 minutes before and got the center top row (my aunt was in a wheelchair). The didn't even sit anyone in the 2 end sections on either side of the stadium. So if you can choose between either show choose the second one!

-We went with my aunt who has a severe spine problem and like I said was in a wheelchair. She didn't want to be in one because she didn't want people to look at her, but after trying to walk the first day we had to get her one. She couldn't stay in it for too long though, so she would get out and walk a few times and one of the kids would sit in it. We had to also use the wheelchair in any show we went into that were bleacher seats, because she couldn't hold herself up in those for too long. She couldn't do a lot of rides, but she still had a lot of fun.

All-in-all it was a good trip. It was hot and the first day I couldn't handle it because we had a flight that left JFK at 6 am so I didn't get a lot of sleep the night before. We went to MK that day for an hour and left for the pool. Because we all go so often we know we didn't have to do every little thing so we spent the day at the pool and then would head over around 4 or 5. We took it easy and we really enjoyed ourselves. We won't be going back for awhile though which is sad because we have gone the past 6 years in a row. this summer we might try out DL though!

and I'll have pictures for you within the next few days

The pictures will be up either tonight or tomorrow. Can you believe that nobody got me dancing with mickey or donald that was actually with me?! My dad didn't think I would want the picture dancing with mickey and my camera died when I was dancing with Donald. My cousin got the back of me dancing with mickey and then when he went to take it when we turned around his memory was full. I do have a picture of me "raising the roof" with chip.

You can get the cups in the World of Disney store. They are in the kitchen section over by the register area. they always change the area of where things are at though so just look for the kitchen section and they should be there. They have the fireworks, finding nemo, lilo and stitch, princesses, and the villans. We have the first 3.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think DL has Epcot. So it could only have been WDW, right? :)

Thanks for the trip report. I can't wait to see your pictures. I have a few questions for you. Besides Chef Mickey's are there any other restaurants that you recommend? How were the crowds overall?
