Which Great America are you going to, Paramount's Great America in San Jose, CA or Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, IL?

I've only been there once, so take my advice with a grain of salt.

My favorite ride there was Top Gun. Foodwise, we had some tasty coconut fried shrimp there, I forget the name of the place but it was right by the entrance to the water park. (helpful, aren't I?) We did not partake in any water fun, but it looks like a really nice waterpark. It is included in the admission. We'll definately spend some time there when we go back. There's also a couple of kids areas if you have any children with you. What to stay away from? I'd say Demon, it's a rough old coaster, IMO. Unless there's absolutely no wait at all, skip it.

Overall it's a nice little park. The selection of coasters is more limited than at Knott's or SF Magic Mountain, but we had a good time anyways.
