Hey ya'll. Seems they are releasing a limited edition tomorrowland reto pin every weekend in August, according to the vmk website:

Pin Collectors Take Note!

Every weekend during the month of August we will be offering a limited release Tomorrowland pin. Be sure to have enough credits on hand to complete your collection.

They arent kidding about the credits lol. The tomorrowland skyway pin is available as of this morning and costs 1000 credits  . I assume it will be gone after sunday night like the others, so just giving you all a heads up. got mine and my kiddies got theirs hehe.

Now a few random questions.

1. Why is the monorail poster 1000 credits? I mean all the others are next to nothing. Is it something that will be disappearing soon as well?

2. Why the heck do you eat the pennies from the penny press? lol.

Just have been wondering. ;) :D

Eating pennies is a bit odd. :fez:

The last Tomorrowland pin (people mover) stayed on until Wednesday. I imagine this one will as well.

My son and I bought ours as well. I didn't think to get the first one until it was gone, but did some quick trading this morning to get my collection ready.

No clue why the poster is so much. I would assume it'll eventually go away.

In case you or others don't know this - you can get credits from the NPC's twice a day. It's set to be 12 hours - so if you do 8:00am you can come back at 8:00pm and get another 100 credits. So if you do that all week you'll have just enough for the next special pin! :D

What is an NPC?An NPC is a Non Player Character. Those are characters controlled by the computer instead of other players.

There are 5 characters in the game you can visit daily to get credits. Read about them at the VMK Guide Website (http://www.vmkguide.com/?action=npc).

Thnx. I was already collecting credits from them. But I didn't know I could do it twice a day :-) Awesome...

I played that game for like a week, then I bored. There is not too many things to do. Are they going to add more stuff or what. Also how do you get rid of rooms, I hav an overabundance of rooms.

Unless you like sitting around and chatting, the fun is in the game. Have you completed all 3 levels of Pirates yet (win 10 games each level)? Fireworks game is quite a challenge.

Unfortunately you can't get rid of your room. I have a bunch of rooms too (partly because I was "born" at Disneyland). What I do is just keep them empty and only use 1 or 2.

As far as new stuff, I've heard that Tomorrowland and Frontierland will open this December with several new games - including Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (whatever that will be).

That sounds great. New stuff this december. That will keep me busy for another week. I find the Pirate game to be difficult, but the firework game is easy. I got third on my second try. I love that game.

P.S. What do you mean, you were born at disneyland?

being "born at disneyland" is a feature of your character (look for people with gold mouse ears on), it means that character was created in the park, either at WDW or DLR.

Actually, the gold ears have nothing to do with being born at that park. You get those for purchasing a real-life pair of gold ears.

Being born in the park gives you a special icon on your profile, with a castle logo.

While my son created his character prior to our trip, I waited and created mine at Innoventions. You get the following when born at the park:

Black Mickey ears
4 extra rooms (in additon to one you pick)
Bunch of extra t-shirts
Disneyland castle logo when viewing your profile

I use my extra rooms as garages for my extra furniture. I think the frontierland game was going to be some sort of maze, from what I gathered on my VMK tour. Although, I was busy with kids so I get every couple of words....distraction.....three more words....distraction :p

Actually, the Golden Ears card is given out when you buy ANY kind of hat. We bought the Captain Jack Sparrow-type pirate hat at the Mad Hatter near Alice and received the card for this. Since we received the special golden 7-17-05 ears, we haven't bought the regular golden ears yet, but may before they stop selling them.

Has anyone found all of the hidden Mickeys? I've only found a few of them.

I've found 30 of them so far, then the whole "school" thing got in the way. :(

They are chocolate pennies! I don't know who the heck came up with that idea, but that is why you eat them!

Where did you find the chocolate pennies? I didn't see a bank on Main Street.
