Jeez, I can't help but rant about this because it really bothers me. Anyone else find those kids[most just reaching middle school] that are asking around if any "cute"[come on, we're pixels for God's sake] boy/girl are "taken" or not really annoying? I really don't get the concept of having an in-game girl/boyfriend. The fact that they just want to have a girl/boyfriend for the sake of having, well, a girl/boyfriend is what bothers me.

That is what most of the conversations are like :rolleyes: What they don't know is that the guy might not even be "cute", or even around the same age as them, if not MUCH older. Which IMHO, is one of the scary things about the intarweb. You never know who they may be, unless you know them in real life. I got reported because I was informing this girl the dangers of getting close to people on the internet, and she didn't believe that people could track you down, no matter if you outright tell them where you live or not. [It's happened to me before.] Jeez, some people...

VMK is NOT a dating site. Let me repeat, VMK is NOT a dating site. Sure you can make friends and chat and play games on VMK, but VMK is NOT a dating site. I think VMK should state this in their list of rules ;)

So if you happen to stumble upon a conversation where someone is making fun of online boyfriends and girlfriends, it may just be me, so say Hi :D

howdy, slight derail but erm, I'm trying to register on vmk and when i put my e-mail in it says that someone has that member name :confused: help?

they were having probs with the sign up system. It took us 2 days to get my nephew in there. You can always try creating a free hotmail or another free e-mail acct and using that to register. Might help. never know.

I agree. I can't stand all the boyfriends, girlfriends and adoptions in vmk. I people always just come walking up asking if I have a girlfriend already.

I also hate when people request to be your friend when you haven't even talked to them once. :rolleyes:

That's one of the reasons that I hate VMK.

Just login and create your character.

I just joined VMK and I had the same problems: I kept trying to do a new member and it said I was already one.

I second what Mox said. I used my existing log in and email and got in.

Also make sure you have cookies enabled for the website.

(Yes, that also caused problem with my log in :D )

By the way, I'm DosiDogirl when I finally get my name approved.

thay are having issues with the sign ups. The first time I tried to create a character in the park it said all my e-mail addresses ahve been used already. I have like 7...and they have not been used....but anyway. the CM said it was because I was being honest about my age and she put 1985 as my birth year and it owrked...she said they like kids more...or some crap, but when i got home it wasn't working. So, I made a whole new e-mail addy and did it again last weekend. Sure enough it said I had used it before...it was a brand new e-mail fom my personal site...ti had NOT been used. I got the CM and she just went to the log in screen. I said it errored, btu she told me to sign in anyway and sure enough it worked. I got home and it's still working.....so who knows whats up witht he site. I was playing tonight and it started going reall slow and jerky and then I got a pop up saying it crashed...*sigh*...my main character name is Wendy. I liek the hide and seek forest and the fireworks game....my other character is still a guest, but it has black ears...wendy only has gold ears....LOL....
