Knott's Excelerator launch coaster has been rumored to open this summer - has anybody seen any construction going on at this point?

I drive by a couple of times a week on the 91 but there doesn't appear to be anything going on right now ............

Excelerator is supposed to have a 0-80mph launch with themed 50's Cadillac coaster cars going up a 200ft+ vertical incline only to turn 180 degrees around and come straight back down into a couple of gound level tight turns before ending .............

You can see some construction - footers being pourer n pieces laying around - at Westcoaster.net. Don't know how old the photos are, but the pages are dated 2/2/02.

Some main supports are up as are some pieces of the track. Also, if you ride the sky cabin, you can see a whole lot of track pieces laying out in the land sounth west of the park (beyond the parking lot and the entrace by the Charles Schultz Theater. Looks cool....
