My coworkers and I have signed up for this game. If we're all playing this weekend, how do we find each other? I can't tell how to make someone your friend unless you click directly on them and add as a friend, so do I just wander about the kingdom and tell them "Click on the person with the blue sweatshirt and purple flip flops"? The only way you see someone's name is if they're talking or you click on them right? I was just wondering if you can put someone's name in and have it find them. I'm grom by the way :)
Also i noticed that there are many instances of the same room, so what are the chances that if i tell them to meet me somewhere after work they'll actually find me?

Best bet would be, for the first meeting only, to have them call you on the phone. Tell them you are in your room (make sure to name your room something unique) then sit in your room and wait for them to show up, then ask to be a friend and accept. After that it'll be easy to find them if they are online, as they will be on your friends list.

Easiest way though, is to have em all come to one persons room, everyone ask everyone else to be their friend, then you are all set.

When you are looking at the main map you can click at setting for "advanced" in the lower right corner. This will let you choose the instance of the room you enter.

The best way to find your friends is to share your room names and then try and meet them there. You are able to search for room names but not people, don't worry if its a generic name because you can also see the owner of the room if multiple results come up.

Same input as all above. you must arrange a meeting ahead of time. Like (8:00 tonight on main street) and then you must know their vmk name so you can click on them and make them a friend.

BQ2 or VMK "forwalt"

A number of other disney sites have figured out ways to indicate that you participate there - via the signatures. For example, you can use Dis for the Dis boards. For MP, you can put in Mouse Planet, as two words.

For the fun of it, I've added that to my sig on VMK. If you can find me, and tell me what my VMK sig file says (via PM), I will send you a cool real world prize. I use Tony as part of my name, but I won't share all of it, yet.

You get black mouse ears when you create your character at Disneyland. You can get gold ears when you buy a gold ear hat at Disneyland -- but you need to make sure you buy it someplace that understands what VMK is. Most shops (and the CMs in them) don't! Star Traders is your best bet as Tomorrowland is the hub for most VMK stuff.

When at Disneyland you can buy 6 items to get cards for VMK. If I can recall them all...


VMK Penny Press - candy at Pooh Corner
VMK Gold Ears - gold ears at certain stores
VMK Magical Mirror - any magic item at the magic shop (I bought a cheap $3 thing)
VMK Shirt (not sure what kind) - T-Shirt (at certain shops)
VMK Happiest Place On Earth Pin - pin at Star Traders


Can't think of the last item you buy, but the VMK booth will tell you all you need to know.

Another note... if you create your character at Disneyland (or create another one) you get extra stuff. In addition to the ears, you get 4 extra rooms, a Disneyland turnstile, 13 extra t-shirts as well as a special logo under your name.

I just saw someone from mousepad on vmk called mousepartygrl...who is that?!

We got our card for the gold mouse ears (I wear them as my character, since I'm on VMK more than my hubby) when we bought my hubby the pirate hat that looks like Captain Jack Sparrow's in the Pirate movie, at the Mad Hatter shop near the Alice attraction.

We've received other cards for various things, but it wouldn't take the code number on it as being a real number for several of them. Does anyone know what to do in this case?
