Does anyone know if you are permitted to bring a pet on DCL?

Just service animals.

Really? I did not think any animals would be permitted, but I know that would be discrimination. So, where do the service animals go to the restroom if they were on board? And do they have special staterooms? Like hotels have special "pet allowed" hotel rooms because of people's allergies and pet dander. This sparked my curiosity....as I have never seen any animals on a cruise before. But it makes sense if a service animal was needed.
