Hi guys, I was just given the Haunted Mansion game as a belated B day gift . Gonna try it tonight. Anyone play it? Is it fun? My friend assured me that Eddie Murphy isn't in it.

I LOVED it! It was very fun. It's very neat to the extent that you get to see a lot of ghosts from the ride in it. (the birthday ghost, the caretaker, ect)

Oh, and here's something cool. In the Ballroom, look up at the balcony. You can see doombuggies making their way through the Mansion. :)

Thanks Micah. I can't wait to play it tonight, particularly since I just beat my Rachet and Clank game and need something new. :geek:

I really enjoyed everything except for the banshees, they got annoying after a while. It was really fun to watch someone else play too :)

The ghosts I hated the most were the Knights. They scared the crap out of me. :p

Oh, and by the way, here's something fun:

In the Masoleum (SP? x_x) there are skulls on the ground that when you walk on them they move around. It's really fun to kick them off of the ledge and into the water or kicking them onto the ground and see them crack open. Maybe I'm the only one that finds this fun. :|

...so is it worth buying? I saw it in a shop for like £10 the other day :p

No, so far it doesn't have anything to do with the movie at all. Thank goodness.(if Eddie Murphy shows up, I'm done!) It's definitlely worth buying if you can get a good deal on it.
It's pretty fun and is a great looking game. I wish I had a weapon to wreak some one on one bashing with but my beacon is strong enough to pack a pretty good wallop now.
I like figuring out what has to be done in each area to get the lights on. I just hope I don't start dreaming about giant red spiders!

OK, last night I came home to a continuous stream of expletives issuing from my sweet little potty mouthed daughter. She was playing HM, and stuck in the room where you have to refocus the mirrors . She was as frustrated with a game as I've ever seen her,and the task and those pesky knights were ticking her off. Is there a trick to doing this task? As entertaining as it was to watch her, I know I'll get just as frustrated with it. It's where I have to go next. Any tips?

Finally adjusted those darn mirrors and got past those those pesky chess knights. I fixed the mirrors on both of our games and ZB had to do the last chess configuration for me.(it was making me a tad angry) Thanks goodness that between us we have all the skills of one great player! :geek: :D

Help!!! I'm stuck in the gallery and don't know what to do. I know I'm supposed to pass in front of the pictures to turn them good, but once I get to the cranky thing and make the stair come out, I end up in a loop. How do I get to the other portraits? Is there another crank? Am I supposed to climb something? HELP!!!!!!!!

hee hee, sometimes it feels like it. Good news though, I finally found a good walk- through online. I'm out of the gallery! If I get stuck again, I'll know where to look. I think I'm almost finished with this game. I'll have to keep an eye out for a new one. :geek:

Not much. The end boss is sadly easy to defeat. You get to go in the stretching room though and that is very cool.
