Hi,
I'll be taking my kids to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach later this week, and I have a question for anyone who's been there- are there places inside to get something for lunch? I've searched their website and I didn't see any mention of it, so I thought I'd ask here. Will we need to leave the property to find something to eat instead?
Thanks for any help!

I remember there being a cafeteria on the second level. They have a grill and kids meals too. Hope this helps.
Thank you very much! That does help. :)

There are restaurants right next to the Aquarium. I went there a couple of weeks ago and these are the ones I spotted....
Bubba Gumps
Chili's
Gladstones
PF Changs
Across the street is that new entertainment center with other food locations. I think I saw CPK.
here's the link for you....The Pike at Rainbow Harbor (http://www.shopthepike.com/)

Are you allowed to leave the aquarium and re-enter in the same day?

Yep, you get a handstamp and show your ticket to reenter.
Middle of the day is uqite busy with school groups. Our strategy is to get there early, spend an hour or two, leave for a leisurely lunch and stroll along the harbor and then return as the groups are leaving around 1:30-2:00.

Don't forget Shoreline Village, which is walking distance from the Aquarium. And closer than the Pike. About a 10 minute walk, I'd say.

They have excellent restaurants.
There are two buffets close by: Hometown, and Colonial Buffet, and they are both across the street, on the other side of Ocean Blvd, near the Long Beach Plaza/City Place. But, that's a bit of a further walk.
