I just wanted to send out a big THANKS to the MP folks who sent out a report of the events this weekend at Disneyland. Being in Seattle, it's impossible for me to have been there, so, I've been signing on to MP.com all weekend and looking at the photos and reading the reports! I am sure I am not the only DL fanatic who was stuck at home today, and unable to attend!

Today, cast members, mouse planet staff, mouse pad members, and guests who attendended alike were one. Those who could be there, and those who couldn't, were there TOGETHER as one big extended family. We celebrated as one, whether we were there in flesh or in spirit. WE WERE THERE!!! Happy birthday everyone. And welcome home. :)

I also want to say thank you Mouse Planet for giving such great coverage of the 50th celebration! I especially appreciate the generousity of all those who were able to attend and took the time to post reports & pics for all of us at home. Thank you. I love Disneyland and Mouse Planet helps me to connect with others who feel the same.

Oh my gosh! What you said makes me want to cry!!!! Snif, snif. I've been to DL since 1966, when I was 5 years old. To miss today was such a bummer, but, I WAS there May 5th for the kick off. Was there new merchandise today, by chance??? :) If so, I NEED IT!!!! Thanks for the sweet message!

You're welcome. And yes, there were new merchandise and a very long line for it.

And yes, thank you very much to the MP staff for everything. For all the hard work that you go through to putting this site together. Allowing enthusiasts alike to meet and share magic and memories. Without you, I would've never heard about the plans to let people camp out, and I would've missed out on a truely wonderful 48 hours. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

50th I was there pin. Tshirts, mugs, keychains. I didn't get a real look. But there wasn't a lot. As far as availability, it might be today only. But I doubt it. I think they had it at the FA so that they would have it at one location, and the line would be in an area that wouldn't cause traffic.
