Dear Mouse Planet,
Please pardon my placement of this Topic in this Forum. I trust the Moderators and Administrators will move it to where it's more appropriate, please accept my apologies in advance for placing it here.
I want to extend to everyone at Mouse Planet, the founders, the Administrators, the Moderators, the many members and readers, a very joyous Happy 5th Birthday of this site, coinciding with Disneyland's 50th Anniversary.
What a way to have a double anniversary!
Many of those who founded this site originated by reading and posting on alt.disney.disneyland on Usenet years ago. I remember reading their postings there. They are passionate about Disney, highly knowledgeable, helpful and courteous, and they come out and tell it like it is. They don't always wear rose-colored glasses, sometimes that is necessary in order to know the truth about the object of the fanship. They tell the facts. They spread the Disney fanship so others catch it, a happy kind of contagion to have! They stick with Disney through thick and thin, analyzing from experience, covering the joys, zig zags and tragedies that have happened at Disney and uniting and informing an Internet Disney fanbase through it all.
A tip of the Golden Mouse Ears to everyone associated with this site, and here's a toast to many more excellent years for Mouse Planet in the future. Thank you for your insights, information, forums, and entertainment. To Mouse Planet, congratulations, and Cheers!
