slight derail: Did any of you see the kid dressed like Sora in DL on the weekend of the 50th? He had the red pants,gloves, shirt, accessories ,and had his hair dyed and styled. Not an official character, just a kid. He looked to be around 12 or so.
I can't wait for Kingdom Hearts 2 to come out, they keep changing the release date and I'm so anxious for this game, Square Enix is killing me! I did however play a demo at Comic-con '05 at the Disney booth this year and it was fun and the graphics look great! It's a bit more challenging and the battle menu kind of confused me at first, but I'm sure it's something to get used to. I laughed when my boyfriend couldn't beat this one boss[Mulan world] It took him like 20 minutes while others took 10. Look out for the flying dragon boss battle, it seems really hard :eek:
By the way Disney Person, I am not sure about the kid dressed as Sora on the weekend of the 50th, but two weeks before at the Anaheim Convention Center and surrounding hotels was Anime Expo. Some people[including me, I'm such a geek, but hey, it's fun! :geek: ] dress as their favorite anime[japanese animation] and game characters there, and I saw a couple of people dress as Kingdom Hearts characters. Some of us costumers like to stay in costume the whole day[some of these costumes take HOURS to put on and it's just a plain hassle to take it off and on ;) ] and wander around in them outside the convention center... And maybe some Sora wandered into Disneyland? I'm not sure if you got your weekends mixed up or something... Unless the kid just wore the Sora costume for the heck of it[which, some of us do, wierd, yes]

I've made it to the jungle, but I'm to tired to go on. The over toime this week kicked my butt ...and the OT today, but next week is only 4 hours of OT on saturday...so I'll have more time for the game...:)

Nope I'm sure it was on July 17th. He was just walking around with his family. His costume was pretty good. He was probably just proud of it .
I noticed that the release date keeps changing. I wanna play it NOW! I'll be sure to watch out for the dragon in Mulan world.

I just got my copy of gameinformer magazine for september and saw something cool. Maybe i have been in the dark, but i missed this one and figured maybe some of you hadnt heard about it yet either but...
Guess who is (at least briefly) in Kingdom Hearts 2??? :eek: :eek: :eek:

ps2, and you can find the first one at just about any target or best buy store in the greatest hits section for $19.99 and sometimes i have even seen it for $14.99.

THERE WILL BE A TRON WORLD!! Sora, Donald, and Goofy are going to be all Tron-like with the costumes like they did with Ariel's world. When I get home I'll post the pics. I saw a date of March 3 on a game web site, but I don't know when it was last updated. It seems like I've been waiting forever for this game! The pictures I've seen are amazing.

Gamespot says it will be here March 28th. This is a must get game for me but I will be buying it when I come home for the summer from college.

Kingdom Hearts II SHIPS on 03/28. That means that if you shop at a speciality video game retailer that overnights their new release games (like GameStop or EB, they are the same thing anyways now) then you'll be able to pick it up on 03/29. For larger locations that sells other stuff as well as games (Fry's Electronics, Best Buy, Wal-Mart)... then typically they two-day air their game shipments.
Since this is a high-profile title, a lot of places that normally don't pay for overnight shipping might do so for Kingdom Hearts II.
Some places, depending on their location to their distribution warehouses, might even have it same day it ships... but it's unlikely. I know when I worked at GameStop we'd had a private jet fly in our copies of Gran Turismo 4 and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas so we would have it the day it shipped.
Also, FYI... there's also a limited edition strategy guide for $29.99 and that includes an art book, a foldout something, and bonus content. Make sure that if you do want it and you are buying the game from GameStop or a similiar store, they knock off 20% off the guide's price if you buy it the same time as the game... so at least that'll lessen the cost a little.
